Standing in the booth, Ariana listened on to the music as she got into the feel of the song. Starting up with recording for her next album, Ariana was eager to try new things with her music and this song was her most ambitious yet. With the sexy tone that it had, Ariana was sure that it would cause quite a stir with her fans but it would at least allow her to shed the projected image people constantly had her set in. Glancing at her lyric sheet one more time, Ariana had the words set in her mind before she began to sing the first chorus. Typically when she finished singing, Ariana had some sort of a feeling that let her know she had mastered the song but still had to tweak it a bit. Once she finished this song, Ariana felt so off. Coming out of the booth, Ariana wore a look of disappointment as she listened to the playback.

“I don’t like it. It sounds too breathy” Ariana critiqued herself

“It sounds good” Ariana’s engineer told her

“No, this song is supposed to hit. I sound like I’m trying too much on this song” Ariana said just as Alexa and Sasha made their way into the studio “I want to re-do it” she said

“Alright, you’re the boss. I’m going to step out for a minute, give you guys time to chat” Ariana’s engineer said just as Ariana played the song back to hear what she was doing wrong

“Ooh, this sounds like we’re taking a sexy approach” Sasha said as she listened on to the song

“Try is the key word, it needs much work” Ariana sighed

“What? You think you can’t get it down?” Alexa asked

“I just want to sound believable on this song, and this doesn’t sound like what I want it to” Ariana replied

“Well maybe in order to have that sexy appeal, you might need to lay off the actual not having sex pact” Sasha said as Ariana just shook her head

“Somehow, I knew that’d come up” Ariana sighed

“What exactly is supposed to be the benefit of this again?” Sasha asked

“I told you, this is to help us reconnect” Ariana replied

“Isn’t the actual intercourse a form of reconnecting?” Sasha asked with a bit of laughter

“No, sex is not reconnecting” Ariana quickly replied “We still have things to work through before we just jump back into things” she said

“It’s admirable, I mean it’s not to say that the sex wasn’t that great to miss it completely” Alexa said as Ariana remained silent, causing Sasha to laugh “Right? I mean it’s not like it’s that good?” she asked as Ariana remained silent before Alexa finally caught on to the fact, gasping at the revelation “The myth is real???” she questioned
