[Coachella]
Looking on at the other acts as they performed during the music festival, Sean felt happy to just be a fan of the music he was becoming a fan of. Sipping on his bottle of water to endure the desert heat that he was taking in, the last thing Sean wanted to do was over heat at any point. It had been a two weeks of non stop work that gave little room for relaxation or talking to Ariana like he had hoped to. Leaving things as complicated as they were since he was last in Los Angeles, Sean wasn’t quite sure how to handle the situation with Ariana because it was evident that his feelings were on display in the song he wrote for her. Just as he got caught up in his thoughts, Sean felt the vibrations of his cell phone to see that he was getting an incoming call from the very person that he was thinking about.
“Hey, what’s up?” Sean asked as he answered the phone while he tried to find a quiet place in the tents that were set up for the performers
“Hey, you still at Coachella?” Ariana asked
“Yeah, performing tomorrow but got out here early to see a few of the acts” Sean said
“Bet it’s crazy” Ariana said
“Not really, it’s very chill and relaxing” Sean replied
“Have things calmed down for you?” Ariana asked “Any more scheduled appearances or business?” she asked
“Uh, just studio time mostly. Ye has been on my ass about getting him some hard hitting material” Sean sighed
“Do you have to meet up with him?” Ariana asked
“Look, why don’t you ask me what you want to ask me and let me see if I can work that out with my schedule?” Sean asked with a bit of a laugh, knowing that she wanted to ask something but was afraid to because she didn’t know what headspace he was in since they saw each other last
“Fine, I was wondering….would you like to perform Right There with me at the White House for Easter?” Ariana asked
“The White House. Wow, you got me coming up now” Sean laughed
“I know, I just figured that this would be great and it’s the White House” Ariana told him
“Well….I’d have a set tomorrow but I could fly out afterwards and get to Washington by the night” Sean told her
“Cool, we’d have all of Saturday for rehearsal and whatever. Then we’d perform on Sunday” Ariana told him
“I got a show at the Trillectro with Travis, but I’m sure it’ll all work out. I have Jen look in to flights and all that, but I’ll let you know” Sean told her as they mapped out their plans
“Okay, I’ll let Isaac know that you’ll be coming so he can work that out with staging. I’m sure everything will be the same like we do all the time” Ariana replied
