----Jedidiah----
I woke up with a migraine. My hair was unbelievably textured and greasy. I needed a shower, now. I crawled out from under Elijah’s feet that had been sprawled upon me at some point in the night and exited the blue tent. I gazed across the boring landscape. Where is everyone else? Why did this have to happen? “Do you mind handing me that?” Alexander’s voice surprised me from behind. I jumped.
“Dude, where’d you come from? Here.” I exclaimed handing him a small metal box about the size of my thumbs fingernail to him.
“Thank you, but I’d prefer to be acknowledged as Alexander from here on out. We are not on slang terms with each other. Is that understood?” He told me taking the cube. His words have me an eerie feel in the pit of my stomach.
“Okay?” I replied heading back into the tent to wake Elijah up. I unzipped the tent when Alexander spoke again.
“Your right we should wake them up now.” His words made me freeze. What if he can read my mind? Can bats read minds? Alexander let out a “Hmm…” sound behind me and I realized now he could. I instantly began trying to think of things that weren’t awkward or insulting. Eh, I decided I would keep the insults. Alexander’s a faggot! I hoped he heard that loud and clear.
“Elijah…” I sang highly prodding her with my palm. She let out a moan and Aiden sat up and rubbed his eyes. Akemi was sprawled out with one leg and both arms over Elijah’s body. I prodded her again and her eyes flicked open. She noticed someone sprawled halfway on her and she sneered and pushed them off. Akemi groaned confusedly and sat up. He ran his fingers through his hair and gazed at me full of tiredness. “Seriously, it is ten something, you should not be tired.” I told them.
“We stayed up till three last night!” Bliss said throwing her long brown hair into a pony tail. Elijah’s bangs were greasy and so was everyone else’s hair, but I felt like mine was the worst. Mindy, Terrance, Julie, and Thompson walked outside. Terrance gave a little two finger wave to us before he walked out though. He seemed like a cool guy I guess.
“So?” I replied to Bliss. “Alright, I need a shower right now.” I said and for attention I took off my shirt and jumped off the roof of the mini mart. Honestly, it hurt my legs like hell, but everyone was watching so I played it cool. Elijah ran to the side of the building in shock and then when she saw me okay she smiled and laughed.
“Oh my gosh, we will take a shower. You’re crazy!” She exclaimed laughing. Aiden jumped off the roof too and almost face planted almost.
“Stupid!” I shouted at him.
“Shut up!” He replied and took off his shirt. We jogged out onto the highway laughing and kept looking up at the roof to make sure people were watching. Alexander just sat on the edge examining his small stupid cube not paying attention to the ruckus Aiden and I were causing. He was so stupid. Why was he even here? Alexander glanced over to me. He must have been reading my mind again. Stop! He better have been reading my mind when I thought that. He needs to mind his own damn business. Prick.
Elijah jumped off with a front flip. “Show off!” I told her jumping on her shoulders. She let out an oof and sat me back down.
“If you got it flaunt it.” She told me with a smirk.
“You don’t have it.” I joked. She punched me in the arm.
“Put on a shirt stripper.” She told me smiling.
