----Elijah----

I was partly flustered from what Ezekial had told me the other night, but partly amused. He was full of crap. He’s been over me for a long time now, and now that I’m dating one of his friends he gets jealous and wants me back. No, he had the chance. I still have a lot of feelings for him, but what’s best for me does not lie with him. I doubt it even lied with Akemi. Akemi was just simple and no stress. Yet again, Ezekial was like that too, but still he put me under a lot of stress for a long time even until now. I was not doing that again. If he ‘loved’ me, he would have said something sooner. It just happens that I’m like the only girl alive and I’m with his friend that makes him want to be with me again.

All these thoughts were kind of awkward to be thinking while I was being flown in his arms. We weren’t speaking. I could tell he was pissed, because I didn’t come running back like he’d planned. I wanted to laugh in amusement. It was annoying how he would just expect something like that. Right now we were flying over the border to Missouri. I was frightened, because I knew the boys wouldn’t have much more energy to fly anymore and we would be stuck in Kansas City. As if on queue,Griffin complained.

“My spine hurts, everything hurts. I think we should land.” He finished with a neck pop.

“I feel you dog.” Ezekial replied pretending to be gangster. We began to slowly land going through the grey sky.

“We’re going to be landing in Kansas City. So like, Zombie cathedral. In that case we are going to have to be on guard all night. We will set up base camp on the roof of a tall building, one without a door to access the roof top preferably.” I ordered business like.

“Aye, aye captain” Akemi replied in his high Asian accent saluting me. I smiled. “Is there K.F.C in this town?” He asked excitedly.

“Yes, but we’re not getting any.” Ezekial scolded. Akemi’s face went into a gasp formation.

“Why we not get K.F.C?” He exclaimed in shock.

“Well, firstly we’re in a city full of zombies, and secondly it’s probably all unthawed and rotten.” Ezekial slowly replied.

“What you say about K.F.C being frozen chicken? K.F.C makes hand breaded fried chicken. You shall pay for your insult!” Akemi growled. I wasn’t sure if he was serious or not. Akemi was pretty crazy sometimes.

“Yeah, you better take it back Ezekial.” I pressed.

“It’s frozen chicken!” He yelled. Akemi nodded and pressed his fingers together evilly plotting.

“You better watch out.” I warned.

“Alright, I’m sure this one… oh yeah wait, I should be afraid. He’s a ninja.” Ezekial murmured. “I take it back!” He exclaimed.

“To late now tough guy.” Akemi said in a sing song voice with a sinister smile. Everyone exchanged curious looks with one another. “Oh, we go now to that building over there!” Akemi exclaimed changing the subject and pointing to a tall building with no rooftop door. The building was a slightly newer building. A lot of buildings were now made without rooftop doors to stop suicide attempts. The paint was white, but now tinted to a reddish grey type of color. We landed atop of it and I threw out the tent capsule and a can of soup. I tore the top of quick and chugged it. I was starving, and cold chicken noodle soup was the bomb diggity.

“Thanks for sharing.” Ezekial joked. I gave him thumbs up.

“I’m hungry!” Griffin exclaimed jumping on my back.
