----Elijah----

I felt like I was underwater but able to breathe for about five minutes. My eyes were heavy, but I wasn’t tired. I could hear echoes, but not anything clear. My vision was blurry and everything seemed pressurized on my body. Finally, I gathered enough energy to sit up and rub my eyes. I had a bracelet on. It read,

My memory began to ravel together. We were in a Rehabilitation camp. I had no idea where, but we were in one. I glanced up from my wrist and noticed the slender steel bars in front of me and that I was in a closed in space. A dog crate. I tried to use my 3-D imagery that my feet projected, but it was useless. Bliss had been right. The lab absorbed our radioactive energy and fueled it for the electricity in the Cubes. I hesitantly approached the cage door crawling on my butt. I was cautious. The room seemed vacant, but my hearing was limited. The energy that worked these parts of my brain was not being fueled, because every ounce of it was being absorbed as soon as it was pumped through my blood again. I leaned my head to the bars and looked out. The room was pure white, the walls were padded, there were seven examination tables, one of them was in use with a small blonde girl who looked about nine, many large lights, a cabinet, and crates along this wall and the left. On the right side was a large steel two door entrance/exit. Just because my abilities couldn’t be at use right now didn’t mean I was useless. I was still a child genius. I was a mischievous little mastermind who was great in school, but not great with rules. I did as I pleased when I wanted. It was obvious that the security system was the top of its class. D.N.A activated, five lifetime battery backup cartridges, weather proof, and twelve smart computers jammed into a single box, plus there were bound to be a few back up alarm systems and motion sensor hidden alarms. It seemed impossible to break out of. I wondered if anyone else was in Cube 12 with me. I peered around the bars straining my eye balls to search. I noticed many bodies hunched in the cages. Some were sleeping, some were sitting quietly watching, and others were peering from the bars. “You’re new.” A boy with brown long black hair and grey eyes said to me through the steel bars. He was in the fourth crate to the left and third from the bottom row. He seemed calm.

“Yeah…” I slowly said. There were so many questions going through my mind and all I could say was yeah. I knew we were being watched. I was to make sure I did not release any confidential facts that would benefit the people who controlled the facility. “Where am I?” I finally asked. His stare loosened from me and looked at the girl on the operation table.

“We’re in Cube 12, Rehabilitation Camp.” He told me. “I saw you on the operation table earlier. I’ve been waiting for you to wake up. I have a lot more questions for you two then you will have for me.” He told me. Operation table? What?

“Operation table? You two?” I asked confused.

“Yeah, the other red haired kid too.” He told me.Griffinwas in here!

“Griffin,Griffin!” I shouted rattling the cage doors. I heard a loud banging in one of the cages from a frightened being.

“Huh? Elijah? Is that you? Where am I? I’m claustrophobic; get me the fuck out of here!” I heardGriffinshouting shifting around frantically in his crate. He was breathing quickly.
