Subject: Goodbye you stupid lovely piece of trash

----Chase----

I lowered my head as I trudged farther through the barren state of Nevada. It was close to the California border now because the air smelt less of death and more of rust. I couldn’t believe after all this time I was looking forward to seeing Elijah it was all a mistake. Everything was a mistake, in her eyes and mine now. She was selfish, rude, and impudent. Why would I ever want to be with her? Oh, only because of the thousand reason list I constructed in my free time that was saved in the corner of my brain listed Elijah. I wanted to delete that part of my brain, but my brain was to enormous to forget anything. I knew Ezekial had moved up to sleep next to Elijah while we talked. I could see the sound waves rustling slightly showing the sounds behind the two of us. It upset me, but I tried my hardest to keep my cool around her. She has no idea how hard it is to do that due to my conditions. It’s all for her, everything was. I wanted her life to be ruined like she ruined mine, but I didn’t have the heart to do so. Instead I would just tell all her secrets to Ezekial. Oh wait; I had already done that after we broke up. What could I do now? I tripped over a peculiar spot on the ground. It was what seemed to be a manhole cover on the border line at the edge of this broken highway. I examined closely and realized it was a well advanced model of the touch screen gel pad lock. It was model 1289 the second. My brain ran a series of tests on the lock scanning its processing devices until it reached three possible outcomes. I typed in the middle one and it failed. The second one did the job and I slid under. Underneath was a series of advanced tunneling only a professional genius like myself could design. I was impressed. I trudged on for what it seemed like hours, but surely enough I came across another manhole covering. I typed in the previous code and pressed open the seal. Above me I was red plush couches and a large movie screened television. I was in a really well off person’s household. I used my advanced brain mapping skills to pinpoint any close by living organisms. Nothing was here, it was abandoned. I heaved myself out of the tunnel. It was a little hard, because I had no upper body strength. My torso and arms were bone skinny, but my calves were like steel. I examined the house from top to bottom and quickly realized whose house I was in. Ezekial, Akemi, and Griffin’s house. I squinted and barreled up the stairs in search of Ezekial’s room. The first room was obviously Griffin’s from the bikini posters everywhere that were quite nice but my adrenaline kept me from staring. I rushed into the next bedroom which was Akemi’s and had a bunch of random junk everywhere as well as comics. There was everything from toy ducks to old pancakes on his floor. Finally the last room was Ezekial’s. It was the biggest and had a lot of stuff on the floor, not as much as Akemi’s, but a lot. I opened up drawer by drawer only finding needles necessities. I double checked them. Then I scanned the premises once more. A fag like him is bound to have emotional evidence in here!

Nothing seemed out of place until I was walking out. I noticed a slight bulge in the wall as I traced my hand across it as I was heading out. I dug my stubs of fingernails into the side of the board and pulled it out. Inside were songs that were poorly written, but had good morals. Mostly were about one day he was going to be big and how he loved his family for supporting him. Others were about how no one was going to put him down anymore, but one I was sure was about Elijah. It was confusing like he couldn’t get his point across well. The last sentence almost made me fall to my knees. The last sentence said, I miss you and have loved you from the very start. That was obviously a lie. He had no heart. These were just silly ten second songs from the top of his head. This one could be about anyone. Maybe another ex or a crush? If this wasn’t about Elijah it would be perfect to hurt her with. I laughed and shoved it in my pocket.

I walked out of the house through the large French doors and walked across the crisp grass. I typed in the code and slid under a manhole leading into town. I nervously shot the gnarly loosely gutted Outcomes in the buildings. I wasn’t good at the whole zombie apocalypse thing. All I knew was to shoot and run. Apparently running attracted them more. I was so stupid! That’s just like running from an animal! The more you ran the more they wanted you! They quickly bounded after me with there limps. For zombies they could really get on my tail. I was a soccer player though. They couldn’t touch me. I ran ahead of them but they were only a yard and half away. I turned the corner quickly and it took moments for them to realize I had turned. They were insanely unintelligent. Some of them even turned the wrong direction probably following an old scent. I climbed the fire escape and rolled into an old apartment. Something was in here. Oh God. I couldn’t go back down either. Zombies crawled up the first few steps of the fire escape but couldn’t make it the rest of the way. I couldn’t jump though, because they swarmed the area at the bottom of the building. A door creaked open. I looked around frantically. My breathing was far from calm. I could see my heartbeat in front of me from my radioactive gifted vision. It was beating twelve times faster than it should. Suddenly an icy hand grabbed my shoulder. Don’t look back. To late. I turned around to see a ripped, rugged, torn, Outcome in my face with its dried, fungus covered tongue lolled out of its useless gash covered mouth. A huge rip was in its cheek and torn ligaments hung out of it. The smell triggered my gag reflex and my weak stomach made me upchuck on the zombie. I was glad I did, because it confused the Outcome and it began scooping up my vomit and shoving it in its mouth. It apparently delighted the zombie and it scooped more handfuls into its un-holy mouth. I raced out the door; running through the abandoned and dingy apartment hallway. The lights were yellowed and flickered. The wallpaper was torn and had dirt and blood streaks across it. Wood panels were yanked from the floor. If I hadn’t done soccer I would have surely tripped and sprained my ankle. I ran down the flight of steps but when I got to the bottom the door was swarmed by zombies. I heard more bounding down the steps. The groans and moans flooded my huge head. I felt fear and rage building in my blood.

Tears rolled down my face and my blood suddenly pulsed with rage. I swung open the door and ran through the zombies. One grabbed a hold of the back of my shirt and I quickly threw it off. Adrenaline was pulsing through my veins and at last I broke through the crowd running as far as I could to wherever the sunset took me. I needed to find shelter fast. Night was where Outcomes were there strongest and I knew I had cheated death. That wouldn’t happen the next time. I would do anything to make sure there wasn’t a next time.
