----Epilogue pt. 2----

Kernel Bronco marched back and fourth in the battered up skyscraper they had been using as a makeshift base. His soldiers and staff were crowded behind him all aligned into rows by ranks or positions. He was expecting something marvelous today.  A clone of Elijah Williams was found wondering aimlessly off the coast ofCaliforniaa few weeks ago and the newest and most gullible prodigy yet had found her. He quickly identified her as a clone and began making notes of her. She was identical in every single way. Down to the atoms, or well particles, within her. The doors buzzed open with the scan of Chase’s key card we had given him to make him feel more free. But we could disconnect it at any given time. He was just useful to us right now. He was such poor mistaken child. It’s not his fault he became unruly smart due to the air substances. Chase walked in clasping a gagged Elijah Williams.

“It claims it has named itself Dakota.” Chase told them. I let out a mocking laugh and the others joined it with me.

“Preposterous, clones can’t have names! They have numbers! She will be number one for now.” I bellowed out clutching my stomach over my olive green suit. “Officer Bradley report it into caged area four.” I told him with a motion of my hand as well. Officer Bradley walked over and clutched the clone’s forearms as he drug it up the stairs, as it whined and cried, to put it in its observation pen. A clone would benefit us greatly. Clones had less control and common sense than a real human being, so we could have easier control, and they had no friends so no one would come swooping in to save it. Apparently this clone had never been documented anywhere, but by its readings it seemed to only be a few months old. We would research the specimen so we know each and every detail of Elijah and what exactly she was capable of. Then when we found her, we’d know what we were up against and how much of a threat this prodigy child was actually. To my understanding, she just had some powerful friends and a smart head. It was a fluke, and wouldn’t happen again. I heard the clone scream violently as it probably tried to teleport away. We wired the cages with ability seals so you’d get electrocuted when you attempted usage of other forces. I turned around to the scientists standing there. There were only two, but they were top of the line.

“You know what to do.” I murmured to them. They nodded and scurried upstairs clutching their briefcase which consisted of torturous and brilliant things all combined. Chase and Marco were staring at the computer screens observing the area. Chase was searching for Elijah, but I was searching for anyone to bring in. I walked over to the back room and got onto a computer and brought up Chase’s profile. I discontinued his keycard and logged off. Poor, poor, Chase. What a pity he believed we cared. All we need left is Elijah and then she’ll be out of the picture. I walked up the stairs to the holding pen and watched as the clone hunched in the center of the medium sized pen we set up for its arrival. The eyes on it gleamed with pure hatred and made me feel deeply uncomfortable, but my years of training kept me holding eyes with it. “War’s about to begin, thanks to you.” I told the miserable creature and turned on my heal to exit the premises right as the scientists entered with there blood boiling fluid to be injected inside the creature to get a full accurate analysis with a touch of amnesia in it as also. We’d have all the information and the creature would be dropped into a dark underground place with no memories of anything or itself forever with the rest of the people we have wiped off the face of the planet for centuries and centuries to come.
