Subject:Guess who's back?

      ----Elijah----

I paced fast keeping up with Ezekial. My hood was up and my feet painted the picture around me. My cat followed closely behind. An outcome was about to come from beside one of the buildings. I threw a ninja star at it and caught it back in my hand all in an instant like it was nothing. “So you’re telling me Akemi built all your guys’ techno stuff?” I asked surprised. Last time I hung out with Akemi he was dumber than a rail. Ezekial laughed and then nodded.

“Yeah, radiation really brought out the inner Asian in him.” He replied smiling at me. I laughed. Ezekial was still funny just like he used to be. Still could make me laugh. It had been awhile since I laughed, or even smiled. I couldn’t even remember the last time I did any of those things. This would be nice. I threw another star at an outcome barreling at us from behind in silence, then catching it in my palm as it flew back to me.

“Wow, your really good. So you’re pretty chill about the whole zombie thing?” Ezekial asked with a smirk.

“Yeah, I’m used to it.” I shrugged. Ezekial smiled at me then turned back facing forward. I saw the huge steel walls surrounding what was said to be there house. Ezekial looked around and then typed in a code of the top of the rusted manhole cover. A click sound came from it than I bent down and heaved it open and hopped in.

“Ladies first?” Ezekial murmured. I laughed.

“Well that is the rule, isn’t it?” I replied with a smirk leading the way. I already knew where the opening was. My feet had already mapped out the whole tunnel system for me.

“Well, I wouldn’t necessarily call you a lady, Elijah.” Ezekial teased. I laughed and shrugged.

“So true.” I replied. I stood beside as I beckoned for Ezekial to type in the code again to open the manhole covering that lead to his home.

“How do you know this is the right one? Maybe it leads to an opening for a hazardous zoo.” Ezekial asked.

“It’s the right one Ezekial.” I replied.

“How do you know?” Ezekial pressed. I laughed.

“Because I know everything, duh.” I said with a smile. I was tired of sitting there so I reached up to the code pad and typed it in myself. I had already memorized the code from the first time I watched Ezekial type it in. Ezekial had his mouth open.

“Told ya’.” I said with a smirk jumping into his house. I saw Akemi first and then saw Griffin on the couch. At first I was shocked with his scarlet red hair and his bright blue eyes but then I realized it was because we both had light hair and eyes so they were affected by the radiation. “Hey guys!” I exclaimed waving with a smirk. They both gaped there mouths open at the same time.

“Elijah?”Griffinasked confused.

“Hey Griff’ we’re still twins!” I exclaimed skipping over and accepting his hug. He laughed and agreed. Akemi huffed a breath to make me feel bad for not hugging him so I ran over and gave him the hugest hug ever. “Akemi!” I exclaimed.

“Elijah!” He exclaimed in his adorable Asian accent. “It been long time!” He exclaimed with a huge smile.

“True dat.” I replied. Akemi turned around and started shaking his butt all up in my grill. I laughed and pretended to spank him from behind. We all cracked up laughing. Gosh I had almost forgotten what this was like, just having fun with my friends. Even when all this bad stuff was going on I was so relieved they were still out here. I couldn’t believe I had found them. Once I reached California I went to the city, decided to turn the corner and there he was. Still tall, tan, and handsome. It reminded me of the time I went to Six Flags with a guy named Chase I used to know, and when he went to go eat lunch with our class mates I turned the corner and there Ezekial was; just standing there as if I was meant to find him. I laughed in my mind. Look at me, over thinking like an idiot again. I smiled and plopped down on there red plush couch. There house was nice. The kitchen had long granite counter tops, upper and lower pure white cabinets, stainless steel all you could want appliances, two islands, a pan rack from the ceiling, a bar, a expensive oak dining table, and a large sink with the stretchy faucets. There living room had a flat movie theater screen, a long L-shaped red plush couch with a matching sofa, loveseat, and modern chair that looked like it was from the future. There was a spiral stair case which led upstairs to Ezekial and Akemi’s rooms, which were huge and well furnished, and on the top floor were Griffin’s room and a roof top garden. The house had a basement too which included a game room, which was probably a spare bedroom once, but now included a flat screened identical to the one upstairs. There were games aligned on bookshelves that Akemi had probably rigged from the nearest game stores and of course Minecraft was in the Xbox. I always hated that dumb game.
