----Jedidiah----

Ever since I had gotten to this Black Market I had barely gotten to spend any time whatsoever with Elijah except for at the party. I mostly hung out with Akemi and Aiden. She was so caught up in other business. It was so like her. Now apparently there was some important meeting we had to head over to the Commander’s house who was Elijah’s friend. I met her once, she’s weird… I walked down the street of rich houses in my grey Aeropostale shirt and blue jeans. I had my Addidas grey and black sneakers laced and my hair blow-dried. I looked good for the occasion I believed. I kept wondering what it could be. Were we leaving again? Was somebody pregnant? Oh God no… if she’s pregnant… that slut….

I knocked on the door and it opened wide to Elijah’s smiling face. I was late by like fifteen minutes because my apartment I was staying at was eight blocks away from here unlike the others. I instantly glanced at her stomach. “Are you pregnant?” I asked instantly pointing to her.

“What? Hell no! I’m not banging anyone you freak!” She exclaimed scrunching up her face in dismay. I cracked up laughing and so did Scarlett and Akemi.

“You thought she was pregnant dude?” Aiden asked laughing.

“I didn’t know. Why else would she invite everyone here?” I replied shrugging.

“Just get inside.” She sighed shaking her head. I stepped inside and plopped myself on the long black rap around coach.

“Nice house…” I said in awe.

“Yeah being rich has its perks.” Scarlett said smiling big. I nodded in agreement. I remember when I used to go to the mall every week. Ah… good times. But that was the past.

“Okay… were taking a stand.” Elijah sighed. Everyone looked around confused. Alexander pulled up a few tabs on a hologram projection laptop screen. Elijah and Alexander got in speech positions.
“As you know and see, these Rehabilitation camps and military bases are growing more and more inhumane by each day. So many questions and discoveries they have grown obsessed with. I am amazed by what they have running through there heads and what they have created, but that doesn’t make it humane. Its our families and friends they are doing this too and have no intentions of helping this planet anytime soon. We have tons of brilliant survivors here that well… won’t be surviving for long. It’s just a matter of time until the government finds us, or the planet worsens, or we run out of stock, or a magma chamber erupts. Anything could happen. We are sitting here waiting patiently for death in a real nice set up and I can’t live with that. My sister or mother could be dead right now. Your families could be dead right now, tomorrow, or the next if we just sit here. This place has the most advanced tech out there. Better than the government officials. This computer is invisible to everything.” Elijah began. I watched the camera footage of needles being engaged to skulls, chips being installed, Outcomes on the table to be tested for cures, other Outcomes being enhanced as war weapons, experiments, tests, extraterrestrial beings tortures, humans tortured, sadly if any were human they were enhanced or experimented on for testing. The world was not the same as it used to be. This was all big experiment to them. One big test for all the brainiacs.

“What are you suggesting..?” Aiden asked. I slouched onto the palm of my hand watching and waiting.

“We are suggesting we take charge.” Alexander replied. “Scarlett has a superb team of bounty hunters on the surface, Bliss you’d need to shut down everything and unlock everything. Rewire there technology. Make it go haywire. Trap them. I’d install cameras, wipe there hard-drives, don’t worry I have everything already transferred, and trap the specialists and commanders. Elijah would then transport the time bombs into the environments destroying the buildings. Then after the country would regroup and recreate society. Clean up the planet. Not all the scientists and biohazard clean up men are enemies. Just the ones working for them. Scarlett and her force would be keeping and eye on everything from down here with the stolen government tech and use it against them blocking every move they make. Mordecai, Aiden, and Jedidiah you will be flown out to the main base to meet Elijah in the final deployment. You were chosen for your healing capabilities, particle detachment, and flamboyant body that will be good against these people deffinently. I understand if you don’t want to take part, but we don’t care.” Alexander presented firmly. My mouth gaped. I never really pictured doing something about the situation. I just thought it would clear up by itself. I didn’t know what to say.

“I’m in!” Aiden exclaimed fisting the air.

“What do I do?” Akemi asked slowly.

“I’m aware somehow you are a clever intellectual, you will stay and guide Scarlett through and procedure. Akemi gave a thumbs up. Elijah was looking at me as if for my acceptance but I gave her uncaring eyes when quite frankly I was very, very, nervous.

“I’m going to need a walkthrough.” Bliss told Alexander very business like.

“Obviously.” Alexander replied flicking his black hair across his forehead again.  “Okay tonight Elijah is going to transport herself into the other world and get any information she can. In that period of time I will be transporting you to the head base inNevadawhere you will camp out in the plains until further notice. We will interlock these ear drop wires into your ears allowing you to hear us from one trillion miles away. Scarlett will take her crew into the tech bunker tonight and study the game plan to be able to point out any errors or glitches. She has already called up her bounty hunters who are making there way to the camps and bases now for back up and force. Bliss I’m going to trust you with this tech while I’m gone. It’s the best of the best.  It registers all of the government’s hack proof devices, documents, and websites. It can sync into any wifi, electronic, or sound waves in theUnited States. It’s weatherproof for a depth of twelve thousand meters and won’t leave a scratch unless it is hit by something over nine thousand pounds. It has front, back, internal, and satellite cameras. It is progressively five years ahead of our time and completely untraceable. It is registered with its very own everything and completely invisible to everything. It even is illegally broken into false account to make it seem as though you have a legit bank account with millions inside. The code number is the model number. That is accessible in your settings which is password protected but you can hack into instantly. You will shut down all technology at three thirty pm on the dot. No sooner no later. That’s when the official staff meeting is held in the banquet hall to commemorate the discovery of the first reliable Outcome weapon in the business. So everyone will be in there. Everyone in each base around the country. I have been watching very carefully to be precise. And if for some reason they aren’t which is highly impossible, trap them in whatever room there in. You will unlock all Cube doors and sector doors at three forty on the dot. Elijah you will release the time bombs at four o’clock to four thirty. You have thirty minutes to deliver all of them. I will wipe there computers of all there information in that time and take any last bits of the things I need before it all explodes. And whatever you do, don’t go back for anybody.” Alexander explained detailed. Everyone nodded even me, but I was chilled by his words. Alexander and Elijah exchanged looks making sure they had covered everything then nodded.

“Okay well, I guess I’m going.” Elijah told us clamping her hand together and fixing her mountain back pack’s straps over her shoulders to fit well.

“Wait!” Aiden and Akemi said coming in for a goodbye hug. She hugged then tighter than usual sighing with a sad smile on her face. She was sad. Why was she sad? She kissed Akemi passionately just once and then broke away flipping her bangs from her right eye. I got up slowly noticing everyone staring and took her into the hallway.

“I’m going.” She firmly told me with a strict look on her eyes.

“I know.” I told her grabbing her shoulders. She new I didn’t want her to go or at least felt worried about it.

“Okay.” She told me. She hugged me tight. Tighter than ever and I hugged her back just as tight not wanting to let go. I felt as if this was the last time I’d ever see her, but I was being too paranoid.

“Goodbye Jedidiah.” She murmured.

“Peace out girl scout.” I replied with a small smile. Her blue eyes stared into mine and then she was gone. Just like that gone. What if one day I just woke up and it was like that forever? I shook my head and walked back in the room with my usual smile and began talking to Aiden. We were getting ready for departure tonight. This was no subtle road trip. Oh hell no.
