----Ezekial----

I woke up to people shouting. Not in anger, but in happiness. I had no idea how they could get over Elijah’s death so easily. I was torn. I never was able to handle death easily. I slouched up and rubbed my eyes when suddenly someone toppled onto me. I tensed up and almost shoved them off me. Rage built up inside me, but when my eyes recognized the face I just laid there in shock. “Miss me?” Elijah asked tilting her head smiling. I smiled and laughed. She was sitting on my stomach and held up nine fingers. “Nine lives bucko.” She told me knowing I was in to much shock to ask how myself. I sat up and hugged her tight. She tightly wrapped her arms across my spine.

“I thought you were dead. Thank you radiation for making Elijah a cat!” I exclaimed tilting my head back. She did a fake cough.

“Cat-girl.” She reminded me. I laughed and corrected myself. Oh my gosh, I was so amazed.

“Nine lives wow. Alright everyone, time to stab Elijah and watch her come back to life!” I exclaimed. She playfully shoved me and strutted away. Akemi ran over and hopped on her back. She wrapped her arms around his legs and kissed him. A pit of jealousy brewed in my stomach, but I managed to keep my retorts to myself. I noticed a pale boy our age standing against the cliff hang with his arms crossed examining the area. “Who’s that?” I asked. Elijah rolled her eyes and blew her bangs out of her face.

“Alexander Wright. He’s a genius like me, and I don’t trust him. He’s a cocky little fuck.” Elijah explained rolling her eyes again. I laughed and glanced back over to him. He was staring at us now. “Yeah, he heard me. He’s a bat-dude so he can hear pretty well.” She told me with her voice un-amused.

“I see, well if he’s as smart as you than he is as smart as me. This could be threatening. So we’re going to watch him I guess?” I asked knowing that, that was a total lie. Elijah was way smarter than me. I just had to much pride to admit it. Elijah looked at me. I guess she knew that was a lie too.

“Yeah, we’re going to watch him well. If he’s anything like me than he’s extremely clever and a little snake.” She hissed threw clenched teeth. Elijah hated any competition or any threat to her dominance. I honestly didn’t think she had anything to worry about. Elijah was boss and she would go out of her way to prove it.

“So why is he travelling with us?” I slowly asked. Elijah sighed.

“He was there when I woke up and talked to me. I didn’t want him to travel with me, I told him no, but then I thought about it. You know what they say; keep your friends close and you’re enemies closer.” She said with a wicked smile. I nodded. Typical Elijah.

“Alright, we got to get out of here soon before the gov comes after us again.”Griffinsaid clamping his hands together. Elijah’s face went paler than usual which made her extravagant blue eyes pop out even more if that were even possible.

“What?”Griffinnoticed in sync with Jedidiah.

“Guys, we are chipped.” Elijah murmured. I saw everyone’s eyes grow big including the aloof kid in the back.

“What do we do?” Aiden shouted freaking out. I couldn’t keep my cool. I gritted my teeth and began clawing at my arm. I would not be found again. What they did to the others was insane. I saw things I could not un-see.

“Stop!” Elijah exclaimed breaking my arm away from my now raw skin. “We need to find out where these chips are and someone who can take them out.” Elijah advised. Alexander slowly made his way over to us and held up a small black square in between his fingertips.
