"And that was how you started obsessing over me," I smirk at his shocked face while he shakes his head, Hazel's hand holding his as she eats her last piece of fruit.
"It was not an obsession!" He argues, furrowing his eyebrows while crossing his arms, causing me to laugh faintly at his offended expression.
"Yeah? Well, what about tha–" I am interrupted by Hazel, who yawns a little bit too loudly before grinning at both of us, grabbing her empty bowl with a smile and raising it in the air as if it was a victory of hers.
Harry smiles at her, grabbing the empty bowl and setting it on the sink before standing next to me with crossed arms as Hazel looks at both of us with furrowed eyebrows.
"Is she sleepy?" He asks and I look up at him from where I'm sitting, shaking my head with a laugh while Hazel begins babbling.
"I don't know but she most probably did that purposely for us to stop talking and pay attention to her," I state with a smile as he leans down to kiss my cheek before Hazel extends her arms in his direction.
He takes her in his arms and I get up from my seat, walking over to them as Hazel smiles lazily at me before resting her head on his shoulder with a laugh.
"Is she going to fall asleep?" Harry laughs, kissing her head as she fiddles with the fabric of his shirt, clearly tired.
"I think so, we should put her in her crib." I nod, leading him to my bedroom where the crib is and he slowly lays her down before bringing her blanket to her shoulders as she closes her eyes.
"That was fast." He laughs, looking at me with a grin and I laugh faintly at his statement before taking a look at her sleeping figure.
I smile at her relaxed features, brushing her messy curls back and she moves in the slightest, letting out a sound before falling silent.
Harry wraps an arm around my waist and I turn my head to look at him with raised eyebrows as he smiles softly at me. "You're very happy today."
"You could say Hazel lightens up everyone's mood."
"That is true." I smile as he pulls me closer to him, leaving a kiss on my forehead and I set my hands on his shoulders as his arms stay around my waist.
"How was she as a newborn?" He asks with furrowed eyebrows while smiling at me at the same time and I huff at the memory.
"Annoying as fuck, she also fucking bit my boobs." I shake my head disapprovingly as he noticeably tries not to laugh.
"Oh," He snickers, his head falling on my shoulder and I roll my eyes playfully, "Is that even normal?"
"Yeah trust me, I was so pissed off I went to the doctor various times." I hear him laughing against my neck before he straightens his back to look at me with a playful grin on his lips.
"You tend to overreact." He smirks and I raise my eyebrows at him before pushing him away and sitting on my bed with my legs crisscrossed and Harry beams at me.
"Don't get mad ma chérie, y–"
"Don't start with that again." I glare at him as his smirk grows, sitting next to me while shrugging and I stare at him with fake seriousness.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He claims, causing me to shake my head at his words while setting my phone on the bedside table.
"You do know what I'm talking about, you called me that for months," I argue playfully and he pretends to think about it before shaking his head in denial.
"It's a pet name, you're not supposed to hate it." I lay down with a sigh as he talks and he smiles down at me before taking a peek at Hazel.
"It got annoying."
"Sure," He ignores, laying down next to me so his head is right next to mine, "do you want to have dinner at my house sometime? It's been a while since we went on a date."
He does have a point. It has been a few weeks since the last time we did go out just the two of us, it would be nice to do it again since we've been a bit closer.
Maybe one at his house isn't really considered a date, but it does sound nice. Just a dinner at his home and all of that, it sounds pleasing.
"I'd love to." I smile over at him and he grins before looking at the ceiling, causing me to do the same with a faint smile on my lips.
Silence falls over the room and my heart rate accelerates when I feel his hand grazing mine briefly before he intertwines our fingers, making my face get hotter.
"Why are you blushing, it's not like we've never done this." He laughs, leaning closer to me and pressing his lips to mine while bringing our hands closer to his chest.
"We haven't in a while," I mutter, his hand leaving mine and draping his arm over my stomach, a smile over my lips as he does so before he sets his elbow on the mattress to look down at me.
"There's a lot of things we haven't done in a while ma chérie." He smirks and I roll my eyes at his words, brushing his curls back as he keeps his eyes on me.
"You ruined the moment, we were having a cute moment and you ruined it." I shake my head in disapproval as he laughs quietly, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear before grinning.
"I missed this."
"Me too, I honestly feel like a teenager again," I tell him while chuckling while looking at him as he puckers his lips out of amusement, widening his eyes when Hazel sighs loudly from her crib.
"She's awake?" He turns his head to peer at her and smiles before looking at me once again and resting his head on my shoulder, "she just tricked us while sleeping."
I smile widely at his actions before wrapping my arms around him, feeling his breath on my neck as he holds me close to him before he leaves a kiss on my shoulder.
I haven't been so close to someone in a while but for some reason, Harry being the person I am close with is quite comforting. I wouldn't have it any other way, he's a good person when he isn't purposefully acting like an asshole.
It warms my heart to know that he literally missed work because I told him I was taking Hazel to the doctor, I know it's more than his obligation since he's her father after all, but it still made me feel happy.
"Wanna nap?" I ask playfully, feeling him laughing against my neck and I contain my laughter as his curls tickle me in the slightest before I brush them back.
"Fuck yeah."
Shorter than I intended to but school has been killing me lately and it gets hard to write, I'm truly sorry. Also, your support has been amazing so thank you all so much!♡
