Gentle kisses on my cheek and fingers running through my hair is what wakes me up, as I open my eyes in the slightest I see Harry looking down at me with a faint smile.
"Good morn–" I shove a hand on his face to push him away, turning my back to him while complaining quietly to myself, closing my eyes once again as I hear Harry laughing lightly.
He wraps an arm around me from behind, kissing the back of my neck while I attempt to go back to sleep, furrowing my eyebrows when I realise he won't stop bothering me.
I turn in the slightest to be able to look at him as he stares at me amusingly before I scoff at him with an annoyed look before he presses one more kiss on my cheek. "Can I see your wrist? You should put more ice on it maybe."
His words make me frown before I widen my eyes as the moments from yesterday seem to rush into my mind suddenly and I slowly bring my wrist closer to him.
It looks slightly purple and he audibly winces at the sight, he moves his gaze to my face but I look away from him out of embarrassment.
I should've thought everything through before having any hopes that Carter had changed. He approached me at the party, claiming to need to talk to me about something important and stupidly enough I thought he would apologise for what he's done.
Maybe if I hadn't been so dumb this wouldn't have happened. But then again, Carter won't be part of my life anymore since Harry fired him, I guess this situation did bring something good out of it.
I feel a slight touch on my wrist, turning my head only to catch Harry pressing a light kiss on the bruised skin before wrapping his arms around me to bring me closer.
Being like this with him makes me want to never get up from this bed, but a little party is being held today by the both of us to celebrate Hazel's monthday and I'm sure Louis will wake up soon, so, unfortunately, that isn't our destiny today.
I run my fingers through his curls and he grins, kissing my forehead before letting out a sigh. "We have to get up." I remind him and although that statement is true, none of us moves.
"But everyone's still asleep, we still have time to stay here." He whines, sounding annoyed and causing me to laugh lightly before widening my eyes as he attempts to kiss my lips, raising my hand to stop his head from getting closer.
"No kissing before brushing our teeth," I tell him, trying to sound as serious as possible and failing miserably as he nuzzles his head on my neck with a dramatic fake sob.
"I guess that's my motivation to get up before everyone else."
"You're such a bad father, today's your daughter's monthday, shouldn't that be your motivation?" I ask playfully, earning a glare from him as he raises his head to look at my face.
"I'd rather not be reminded of that, she's growing up too fast and I don't like it." He affirms sternly while sitting up on the bed and peaking at Hazel, who sleeps peacefully in her crib.
I sit up as well, resting my head on his shoulder before he drapes his arm over my shoulders and kisses my head.
"I wish she could stay a baby forever, she's like the best baby I've seen." He laughs at my words, getting up from the bed to walk closer to Hazel's crib and leaning down with a grin.
"Who would've guessed this mischievous girl was already awake?" He laughs as she squeals happily at the sight of him, causing me to widen my eyes with a gasp before scrambling closer to them as Harry takes her in his arms.
"Happy monthday my love!" I kiss her cheek repeatedly and she whines while trying to turn her face away from me. Harry laughs when I step back and Hazel rests her head on his shoulder with a lazy smile on her lips.
"Let's get breakfast, yeah?" Harry suggests and I nod, the three of us step out of the room and immediately see Louis doing the same with widened eyes once he looks at us.
"Shouldn't you all be asleep? This isn't normal." He enquires while sending us a weird look and Hazel laughs at him while setting a hand on my head for some reason.
"Don't be so dramatic," I say while we all begin walking towards the kitchen, Harry sitting Hazel on her high chair while me and Louis start making breakfast.
I furrow my eyebrows when I see Harry opening the freezer but decide to shrug it off and continue what I was doing before, only to be stopped by Harry not long after as he grabs my shoulder gently.
"Sit down with this ice on your wrist, I'll do the rest." He hands me the ice wrapped in a kitchen cloth and sets it on the bruised skin with raised eyebrows.
I roll my eyes playfully, sitting down next to Hazel and she immediately smiles at me with a joyful gaze set on me before turning to look at Harry as he moves around the kitchen.
It doesn't take long for them to finish breakfast and once it's in front of me I set the ice down to eat, side glancing at Hazel as she grabs her bottle on her own and dying a little on the inside with such an act.
"What are your plans for today then?" Louis asks as we all begin to eat, Harry next to me and Louis in front of me and I look at Harry shortly before answering.
"I don't think it has to be something too huge, I invited Megan and Zayn but that's all," I inform them only to hear Harry choking on his food loudly.
"You invited Zayn?" He asks with a shocked look washing over his face as he stares at me, Hazel laughing quietly at Harry's reaction while I tilt my head out of confusion.
"Was I not supposed to? He's a nice guy, I like him." I furrow my eyebrows at him as he bites his bottom lip while Louis laughs faintly at the topic.
"I need to store my patience for him." He sighs dramatically and I shake my head disappointingly before grabbing his hand in mine to make him look at me.
"You're overreacting."
Louis laughs a little louder at my words and Hazel looks at him curiously before copying his actions, letting out a fake laugh while looking at Harry.
"That's not true! You're not the one who has to spend almost every minute with him at work." He crosses his arms after letting go of my hand with an annoyed huff, turning his head away from me as if upset.
I open my mouth to speak but a knock on the door makes me freeze, looking at Louis with furrowed eyebrows as if he knew who had knocked.
I get up from my seat, walking towards the front door and rolling my eyes when I notice Harry is following me.
My eyes widen when I open the door, covering my mouth with my hand in an attempt to not laugh as Zayn stands in front of us with a huge grin.
"Let's get this party started!"
Kinda boring but I hope you're enjoying it nonetheless!♡
