Me and Harry step inside my house, both of us frowning at the silence in the house before Hazel laughs loudly from the living room, making me grin.

I take off my jacket, Harry helping me and hanging it by the front door before we both walk to the living room, seeing Megan sitting on the couch with a lost look in her eyes while Louis is playing with Hazel on the carpet.

"Hey, I hope we didn't take long," I announce, making everyone in the room look at us and Hazel immediately reaches out to me with her arms and a grin on her lips.

I walk closer to her and take her in my arms, kissing her cheek before glancing at Megan who seems to be frozen in time, staring at her hands with a blank stare.

"I can take Hazel." Harry offers after stepping closer to us and I smile over at him before Hazel extends her arms to him with a grin as if she had heard him.

Harry takes her in his arms, kissing her cheek as she pats his cheek before sending me a look and walking away. I look over at Louis who had fallen asleep on the floor in the meantime and crouch down to wake him up.

"What the fuck do you want now?" He grumbles, turning his back to me and I contain my laughter before pinching his side, snickering when he slaps my hand away.

"Come on, go to bed and let me talk with Megan." I push his shoulder in an attempt to make him stand up and he groans before sitting up and glaring at me.

"You have a hickey." He states, getting up and leaving the room without another word while I roll my eyes and sit down next to Megan on the couch.

"You alright?" I ask with a faint smile, watching carefully as she turns her head to look at me with the same blank stare.

"I saw Niall with Charlotte, they were only talking but I-I freaked out because she was being quite touchy, now he's mad at me."

"Oh, Megan I'm so sorry," I reach closer to her, setting a hand on her arm out of worry while she sniffs and looks away, "I'll talk to him tomorrow."

"You don't ha–"

"No! He can't just leave things like this, I will talk to him." I assert, getting up with my hands on my hips as she looks at me with teary eyes before nodding.

"Okay, just please don't make it worse." She mumbles, looking down at her hands once again while I stare at her worriedly before setting a hand on her shoulder.

"Look, why don't you spend the night here? It's late and I'm sure you're tired." I suggest softly, and she shakes her head with a frown before running a hand through her hair.

"I really need to be alone, Eve." She mutters, sending me a guilty look and I furrow my eyebrows before setting the tv remote next to her.

"I can leave you alone, okay? I'll give you some comfortable clothes and you can stay here in the living room and then you can sleep on my bed."

"Eve–"

"I'll be right back," I tell her, walking away and running to my room but I stop immediately at the sight in front of me, sort of processing everything before quietly walking further into the room.

Harry is laying on the bed, eyes closed and parted lips, his arm on Hazel's back, who is also sleeping peacefully, soft snores being heard once in a while and the only light coming from my bedside lamp.

I smile at them before making my way to my closet, grabbing what I wanted before slowly walking to the living room as Megan sends me a weak smile.

"We have a problem, apparently Harry is staying too." I laugh lightly while setting the blankets on the couch and looking at her with a grin as she smiles softly.

"I can leave Eve, it's–"

"No! No you're not going to leave, if you go home then you'll start remembering stuff you shouldn't think about, it's always nice to have someone near you."

She looks down at the blankets and then at the clothes in my hands before nodding and pulling me into a hug. "Thank you, you're the best."

"Hey, I wouldn't say I'm the best... but I am," I joke playfully, smiling as she chuckles before pulling away from me and taking the clothes out of my grasp.

"I don't mind sleeping on the couch, it's comfortable as heck." She affirms, patting my shoulder before I tell her where the bathroom is so she can change.

In the meantime, I walk into my room with a smile on my lips at the fact that they still look the same as they did seconds ago.

After carefully taking Harry's arm away from Hazel, I put her in her crib as cautious as possible to not wake her up, covering her small body with her pink blanket before turning to look at Harry.

I sit down on the spot next to him, brushing his curls back with a small smile and looking up when someone knocks on the door, arching an eyebrow at Megan.

"I'm going to sleep, do you mind if I leave the tv on while doing so?" She asks, glancing at Harry and visibly trying not to laugh at his sprawled figure on the bed.

"Not at all, feel at home."

She waves at me before walking away while humming to herself and I turn back to look at Harry. Suddenly this feels like a sleepover, it's only two people but it's been a while since I had anyone sleeping over at my house.

Getting up, I walk over to my closet and look for any oversized clothes I might have for Harry, there's no way he's sleeping in a suit, especially as expensive as it looks.

Two arms wrap around my waist from behind and I look over my shoulder as Harry rests his head on it while yawning quietly. "I'm sorry, I must have fallen asleep while hanging out with Hazel, I'll leave in a few."

"No, you're staying, it's late." I kiss his head, his arms tightening around me before kissing my shoulder with a hum.

I grin when I find a bigger black t-shirt and some sweatpants, turning around in his hold with a smile. "Here, go to the bathroom to put this on while I get ready for bed as well."

He doesn't move, staring at me with heavy looking eyes and a lost smile on his lips. "You're so pretty."

I laugh at his words, pushing him out of the room and closing the door so that I could finally get into my pyjamas. After doing so, I open the door again so that Harry can walk inside and lay down on my bed.

The day took a weird turn. I wouldn't expect Niall to upset Megan since they looked pretty close with each other, then again, we don't really know what was happening when he spoke to Charlotte. So tomorrow I will have to speak to Niall, immediately.

I also did not expect Harry to fall asleep but in a way, I find it quite refreshing. Quite reminds me of when we were younger and were constantly sleeping in each other's house.

The night didn't go as expected, but somehow I think it ended very well.

Harry nearly throws himself on the bed, waking me up from my trance as he wraps his arm around me and brings me closer to him. "Thank you for letting me stay, you're so kind."

I try not to laugh at his weary words, turning off the light from the lamp next to me as he presses his lips to my cheek and nuzzles his head on my neck with a hum.

I carefully get under the covers, helping Harry doing the same as it seemed like his body gave up from even trying. "You should sleep H, you look very tired."

He grazes my cheek as I lay facing him, his touch never leaving my skin as he moves closer to me before pressing a kiss to my lips softly. "Evelyn?"

"Yes, Harry?" I chuckle tiredly, squeezing my eyes shut, then opening them wide in an effort to stay awake as exhaustion seems to start taking over my body.

"I missed being with you like this." He closes his eyes right after, setting his face closer to me while I run my fingers through his hair with a smile.

"Me too."

I feel like it's quite boring but I actually like it haha. I hope you enjoyed it!♡
