I slowly walk out of Niall's office, humming to myself while taking a sip of my coffee. I had just finished helping him out with sending his designs to Harry and I am now making my way to my office.

I open the door of my office and frown when I see a girl sitting on the couch, her arms crossed and an angry look on her face. "Uh, how can I help you Miss?" I ask putting my coffee on top of my desk and she starts walking towards me.

"I wanted to talk to Harry, but the receptionist said I had to come here first, what a bitch." She mumbles the last part and I widen my eyes while glancing at her.

"What is your visit for?" I ask, starting to walk to the door that separates mine and Harry's office.

She scoffs, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms once again. "I am his girlfriend! I don't need a reason to visit him."

I look at her for a few seconds, contemplating if I should throw myself out of the window of the last floor or throw her instead. I shake my head slightly while opening the door, taking a glance at Harry, who is sitting on his chair behind his desk and writing something down on a paper.

"Sir, your girlfriend is here to see you, should I send her in?" I ask, pretending that I wasn't about to explode of anger. He snaps his head to look at me with wide eyes, slowly nodding.

I step aside and she walks past me quickly, a groan leaving her lips when she gets inside his office. I quickly close the door, not wanting to see any of what will happen there.

I sit down on the chair behind my desk, hiding my face in my hands, feeling the tears fill my eyes.

"Harry what you did was fucked up! Why did you do that?! Am I not enough?!" I exclaimed, tears rolling down my cheek as he coldly glared at me.

"Honestly Evelyn, no! You're always so fucking clingy and needy, it's so fucking annoying!" He said, crossing his arms angrily and I blinked, taken aback by what he said.

He stared at me and his look started to soften. "Baby, I didn't mean th–"

"Get out."

I shake my head, holding back the tears. I shouldn't think about this, especially at work.

I start filling and signing some files, humming a song to myself, raising my head when my door bursts open and Harry comes in, putting more papers on top of my desk and walking away, disappearing from my sight.

I shake my head slightly, taking a look at the papers before continuing the ones that I was doing. The phone rings and I quickly pick it up. "Good morning you are talking to Evelyn, Harry Styles' assistant from the Styles corporation, how can I help you?"

"Oh wow, so formal." Louis snickers and I widen my eyes, standing froze in time for a few moments before answering.

"Louis! You can't call the company's phone!" I mumble, laughing quietly to myself and he laughs loudly.

"I know love, but I just wanted to know how you are and honestly, hearing you say all of that is very funny." He says and I can picture him smiling.

"Louis, I'm fine! You don't need to call me for that, you could just text me." I sigh, smiling to myself as I hear Hazel giggling.

"Jeez, alright well, have a nice day of work Evelyn!" He says excitedly and hangs up, making me shake my head with a smile.

                                 (...)

It was now seven p.m and I was getting ready to leave, since I was supposed to leave an hour ago.

I enter Harry's office and put all of the files on top of his desk and he blankly glances at me, making me feel slightly nervous, but I shrug the feeling off, not wanting to pay attention to him and his behaviour.

"I need to ask you something." He says, making me look at him with a frown and I slowly sit down in the chair in front of his desk as he turns off his computer.

"I need to travel to Italy in two months, and I need to bring you but I would like to ask you beforehand if you are available for that." He says, looking at me with a cold gaze.

In two months Hazel will be seven months old, I could try to hire a babysitter for her or something of the kind.

"Sure, I think so, yeah." I mumble, starting to get up from my seat but he stops me, leaning on his desk and grabbing my wrist.

"I feel like you're hiding something." He mumbles, a frown on his face, the only sign of emotion I have seen from him since I came here.

"I'm not hiding anything sir, and I have to go home, my–uh roommate is waiting for me." I mumble, taking my wrist out of his hold and turning around to leave.

I get inside my car, wanting to just forget what he said and pretend I didn't even see him or that I did not talk to him.

His conversation was disturbing me a lot, I do not want him to know about Hazel, that'd only make things worse because then he would want to spend time with her and I don't want that at all.

I arrive my house and quickly make my way to the kitchen, seeing Louis having dinner and a frown takes over my features when I realise that I have no idea where Hazel is.

"She's already in bed, she was really tired, poor thing fell asleep on the floor." He says quietly, laughing a bit at the end.

I nod, going straight to my room to put on my pyjama and I look down at Hazel who is peacefully sleeping on her crib.

I reach down with my hand and carefully brush her curls, a smile on my lips when she slightly moves, a hiccup coming past her lips as she lays down with her face turned to me. "I love you, darling."

I make my way downstairs and sit down next to Louis, not really feeling like eating. "How are you, love?" He asks, chewing on his food and I shrug.

"My day started really good, but then his girlfriend appeared there, and trust me when I say that she's a total bitch" I laugh quietly and he chuckles before taking a gulp of his water, "and before I left he said that he has a feeling that I'm hiding something."

He widens his eyes and I nod, pressing my lips. "Also, I'll probably go to his trip to Italy." I mumble and he sighs while nodding, "don't worry Louis, it's in two months so maybe at the time we can hire a babysitter for Hazel."

"I know, I know, but she's going to miss you…" He says and I hide my face in my hands, letting out a long sigh.

"I know Louis, I know, I'm going to miss her a lot too but… it's work." I mumble, starting to feel bad about all of this.

Maybe I should quit, everything would be better, I could stay home with my daughter, I could have dinner with everyone and I could spend time with the people I love. No, I can't quit, I have to earn money and I have to work, it's part of my life and I shouldn't give up, I need to do this, not only for me, but for my daughter.

I must do this.

I love these gifs of Harry haha, I hope you're enjoying the story♡
