Harry and I have moved to the living room, both of us sitting on the couch rather closely while the sounds of the tv only seem to be used as some sort of background noise.
He has been incredibly charming and polite throughout the night. It's not that surprising, Harry knows what he's doing when it comes to dates, but it still threw me off a little.
He sets a hand on my thigh, gently pulling me closer to him with a smile on his lips. "I quite miss the times we were in school, you know?" He tells me and I arch an eyebrow at his words before replying, watching as he raises his eyebrows at me.
"Why is that?" I ask, genuinely curious about his reasons to say that. We were much younger and at times we could really annoy each other to the point of not speaking to each other for days.
It was never more than that though, it was always just a few days before one of us came apologising.
"Simpler times I suppose, I think we were closer." He mutters, avoiding my gaze and looking down at his hands as I furrow my eyebrows before holding onto his hands.
"We were apart for a long time Harry, I think that's how a relationship works because even though we were separated it doesn't mean we can't build a stronger bond than before."
He stares at me for a few moments, seeming to process my words as I raise my eyebrows at him while waiting for any sign of some sort of reply from him.
"Are we… in a relationship right now?" He asks slowly as if choosing his words carefully while looking at me with softness in his eyes and I feel my face heating up.
"I'd like to think so, yes," I mumble, letting go of his hands while looking down with some unwanted thoughts nearly eating me alive, most of them dissipating into thin air as Harry sets a hand on the back of my neck.
He presses his lips to mine so unexpectedly that it nearly leaves me breathless, the hand that wasn't on my neck moving to grab my hip and I grab onto his arm while trying to keep it together and not fall apart right then and there.
He hums into the kiss and my lips part slightly, allowing his tongue to slip inside before I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him closer almost desperately.
My heart thumps against my chest, heat rising from my stomach to my chest as he grips both of my hips while leaning forward, humming against my lips as one of my hands moves to grip his hair.
As he begins to lean even more forward, we both end up falling back on the couch and I immediately feel Harry smirking against my lips before moving one hand to grip my thigh while keeping the other on my hip.
With my back on the couch and Harry towering over me, his kiss starts to get a little rougher as his hands wander downwards until he detaches his lips from mine. "I don't think you realise the things you do to me."
My heart flutters at his rushed words, his lips slide down my throat and stop above my collarbones before sucking gently at the spot below, soothing the skin with his tongue before leaving a trail of kisses up to my jaw.
"Would it be too late to apologise?" I hum as he brings his face closer to mine, smirking down at me with amusement clear on his features at my words.
"You've no idea ma chérie, but you needn't worry, after all, I quite enjoy it." He tilts his head before crashing his lips against mine once again with an unexpected whimper as I grip his curls in an attempt to bring him closer to me.
My hands leave his hair and slip under his usual white dress shirt, feeling his smooth skin under my fingertips as he shivers either at the touch or the coldness of my rings against his warm skin.
In return, he taps a finger on my waist and I arch my back as his hand attempts to reach the zipper of the dress and once he does, he slides it down slowly, maybe too slowly because halfway through it my phone begins to ring loudly.
Time seems to stop, both of us breaking apart as the sound echoes through the room and I contain my laughter as I pat his shoulder and roll out of his hold, nearly falling but I'm able to catch myself in time.
I grab my phone, which was on top of the table where we had dinner not long ago and I frown at Louis' name on the screen before answering the call.
"Is everything okay?" I immediately ask, my heart beating rapidly against my chest not only because of what had happened not long ago but with worry that something might've happened at home.
"We might have a problem… there's a girl named Megan here and she said she needs to talk to you." He says and I can hear Hazel babbling loudly somewhere in the house and I press my lips.
"I'll be there soon, I promise," I affirm, feeling Harry's presence behind me as he zips up my dress again while kissing the back of my neck before stepping in front of me with a smile.
"See you in a bit." Louis hangs up right after his words and I glance up at Harry, who's looking at me like he didn't just hear me saying I'd be somewhere else soon.
I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him into a hug, his arms wrapping around my waist instantly while pressing a kiss to my head. "I have to go, for some reason Megan wants to talk to me."
"I understand. Do you want me to come along?" He asks, pulling away in the slightest only to look down at me with a soft smile over his lips.
"Only if you want to," I assure him, besides, Megan probably solely wants to speak with me so maybe Harry might just go there to see Hazel.
"I do want to honestly, I could spend some time with Hazel before she goes to bed." He smiles widely at the thought, which causes me to grin before walking towards his front door and grabbing my coat.
"Let's go then, people are waiting for us." I laugh as he shuffles around to grab everything he needs, holding the door open for me and smirking at me as I walk past him.
He closes the door behind him, locking it before turning to me and clasping his hands on my hips to pull me closer. "We'll finish what we were doing soon?" He asks with raised eyebrows before I pat his hair with a smirk, watching as he tries not to smile at me as his eyes glint in amusement.
"I guess we'll have to wait and see."
I don't know what to think of this but I hope you enjoyed!♡
