Harry was currently having an interview, and I stood behind the cameras because he insisted that I should come with him and I unwillingly did.
He seemed like he was having fun, so I took that opportunity to wander around the studio, completely forgetting about any other things as I entered my own world.
I made sure that I wasn't too far away, so that if someone needed me I would be able to listen. I was so distracted that I didn't even notice the man running towards me. "Miss! You're Mr.Styles assistant, right?" He asks and I nod with a frown.
"Great, Mr.Styles' girlfriend is outside and maybe you could ask Mr.Styles if we should send her in." He explains and I nod once again, turning around and walking towards Harry.
Fortunately, they were taking a break already, so I immediately went towards him. "Sir, your girlfriend is outside and the staff wants to know if they should send her in." I say, making him look up at me with a frown.
"No, no, she has to wait" He says with a cold gaze on one of the staff members, "I told her to wait, why the hell is she here?!"
I shrug, turning on my heels to inform them, but Harry softly grabs my wrist. "Are they annoying you?" He asks, nodding towards the staff and I quickly shake my head.
He let's go of me and I quickly tell them to not let her in right now, to which they only nod and proceed to talk amongst themselves, waving me off.
I sigh in frustration and decide to let her know this, making my way to the door and opening it, revealing Harry's pissed girlfriend.
"Charlotte is it?" I ask coldly and she frantically nods. I look at her with a frown while she glares at me.
"You have to wait a little bit, Mr.Styles has mentioned that he specifically asked you to wait, the interview is halfway through so please await for the end of it." I calmly say and her glare on me intensifies.
"You're only saying that because you want to suck his dick! Get out of my way!" She exclaims, grabbing my shoulders and pushing me so that she could walk past me.
As soon as she enters, she collides with someone. I look at that person, seeing Harry standing there and coldly glaring at her. "Charlotte, do not talk to Evelyn like that ever again, and if she told you to wait, you fucking wait instead of throwing a fit." He says, crossing his arms.
She rolls her eyes before strutting out of the room and Harry turns to look at me with an apologetic look on his face. "I'm truly sorry Evelyn, she overreacts very often."
I simply nod, not wanting to talk about it for too long. "Harry Styles! We're going to start filming once again!" Someone shouts and he snaps his head to look at the direction of the voice.
He glances at me while scratching the back of his neck. "I better get going." He says, walking away right after, making me feel the weight on my shoulders fade.
It annoyed me how nervous he made me, especially because he doesn't deserve that kind of feeling from me.
I sit in one of the chairs that were behind the camera and rub my temple frustratingly.
"So, how have you and your girlfriend been? I heard you were ready to sail on the love boat." The interviewer asks, wiggling her eyebrows up and down which makes him let out a breathy laugh.
"Yeah, I think so! As I have said before, it will be after my trip to Italy since I have a lot of work to do." He says, and I frown when I notice him shifting uncomfortably on his seat.
I shrug it off, not wanting to worry too much. I mean, he never really worried about me, so why should I?
My phone buzzes and I smile lightly when I see that I got a text from Louis, and smile even bigger when I see that he sent me a picture.
He was smiling widely at the camera, his eyebrows raised and Hazel had her face right next to his, her eyes shut closed and a big smile on her lips, a dimple appearing on her cheek.
I text him back saying that they looked cute as always, and that she should put on a jacket and immediately put my phone back on my pocket.
I hear everyone chatting and I realise that the interview is over, no sign of Harry. He must have gone to see his girlfriend, so I quickly get up and search for him so I could ask him if I can go home.
I see him in the big white hallway, talking to Charlotte. He looked mad, his arms were crossed, his jaw clenched and he was staring coldly at her.
He says he is going to marry her, but he always stares at her like he is dreading every second she's next to him. It is confusing, but oh well, it's not up to me.
"Mr.Styles, now that the interview is over, do you think that I can go home?" I ask quietly, making him immediately look down at me, his eyes slightly softening.
"Sure, there's nothing more that you have to do back at the office so you can go." He says, uncrossing his arms and I nod, turning around to leave.
I kept thinking about everything he did to me and my quickening heartbeat quickly slowed down. He made me feel worthless for months, I spent days after days doubting my existence and wondering why the hell should I keep going.
But Hazel came around, and I suddenly had a reason to live, she made me feel worthy because she needs me.
I must admit, I have missed Harry every single day but he doesn't deserve that kind of attention from me, not after what he did.
Maybe he was right. I was too loving, too touchy-feely, too sensitive, too passionate, too caring, too romantic, too involved... too much. I was, and still am, all of those things. And he didn't, and still doesn't, deserve a woman like me.
Shitty chapter sorry haha, I hope you're enjoying nonetheless♡
