"Okay, so you're telling me that you're not curious about how breastmilk tastes?" Harry asks with furrowed eyebrows, a grin on his lips as he sips on his wine.
"I mean, I have had it in my mouth before but it was just to see how the temperature was," I inform him after swallowing the food in my mouth, watching as he shakes his head as if he were disappointed.
Me and Harry have been talking for about an hour now, our food took a while to arrive and we are just now finishing eating it, but our chatter never seemed to cease meanwhile.
"I've always been curious about it." He mumbles, turning his head in the slightest to look at the girl that was playing her ukulele on the stage with a small smile.
"Technically you already tried it, when you were a baby." I point out, snickering when he turns his head to look at me with the most unemotional face, eyebrows pulled low and a blank look in his eyes.
"Alright, did something happen while you were pregnant that you will never ever forget?" He asks with a small smile and I feel my mood dropping in the slightest at the remembrance of what had happened when I was pregnant.
"Uh well–"
"Was that too personal? I apologise, Evelyn." He interrupts me, noticing my apprehensiveness and staring at me with a frown as I stare at my hands while coughing awkwardly.
"If it helps, my cravings were really bad." I laugh, watching as his frown fades and a smile spreads on his lips while taking another sip of his wine.
"What was the worst thing you ate at the time?" He asks, watching me as I look up while thinking about those times where I made Louis buy me food.
"Well I had bananas with lemon juice on it once and there was this one time I ate ice cream on toast as well." I look back at him, only to catch him staring at me with raised eyebrows and wide eyes while I shrug carelessly.
"Like, breakfast and dessert at the same time?" He inquiries with an amused smirk, putting his glass down before running a hand through his curls.
"I swear it was really good." I attempt to convince him and he merely shakes his head with a smile on his lips as I cross my arms over my chest with raised eyebrows.
"I will never try it, but thank you for the suggestion."
I open my mouth to speak, shutting it right after I see two familiar people step inside the slightly crowded area before moving my chair closer to Harry's so I could take a better look.
"Are my eyes deceiving me or is that Niall and Megan?" I secretly point to the entrance, where they were standing with grins on their lips as they wait for someone to lead them.
Harry turns his head before glancing back at me. "I think it's them." He furrows his eyebrows before extending his arm over the back of my chair while staring at them.
"Oh my God, do you think they're on a date?" I part my lips as I look at them chatting with each other, causing Harry to turn his head back to me.
"Perhaps, but I think it'd be better if we focus on our date." He furrows his eyebrows with a smirk on his lips while I look up at him with narrowed eyes.
"That's no fun." I pucker my lips, turning my gaze to Niall and Megan once again as someone leads them to a table a little bit far away from ours, but still visible.
"Evelyn," He laughs when I keep my eyes on the two of them, "I'd truly appreciate it if you talked to me and not looked at other people."
"But they're cute!" I look at him with furrowed eyebrows but a smile on my lips as he grins down at me, shaking his head in the slightest before glancing over at the pair.
