I woke up and grabbed my phone and got a text from Scooter saying:
Blake is here and he wanted to see if you guys wanted to work on a few songs of the album.
I quickly texted back saying I would be there in 30 minutes.
I then went in my bathroom and saw my hair was naturally wavy so I just fixed my part and threw on white free city sweatpants and a white tank top with a grey off the shoulder comfy sweater. I threw on random sandals and then quickly fed Marilyn grabbed my purse and drove to the studio. When I got there there was a ton of paparazzi and I just looked down and walked in. I saw no one was at the reception desk so I just went into studio A and I saw Blake and Scooter talking. We said hello and hugged and then Scooter said, "Okay so we need three more written and recorded!" I nodded and he continued, "Today though we first wanted to record break free and that girl should be me." I nodded and Blake said, "Okay go head in the booth break free is first." I walked into the booth and heard the music and started singing...

3 hours later we finished recording break free and I just sang the last word in that girl should be me. I teared up but quickly whipped my eyes not wanting anyone to see. I walked out of the booth and Scooter said, "Great job you and Blake can start on those songs and I'm gonna grab us some lunch." We said, "Okay." After he left we sat down and Blake said, "What do you want your songs so be about." I said, "Well I-I like my songs to show how I feel and I feel like..." He said, "What do you feel?" I said, "Like my heart has been completely shattered and even though it's broken I still want to be with him but I also feel relief knowing he didn't cheat but...I don't know." Blake smiled and said, "How about we right 3 songs about those exact feelings." I said, "But what would they even be called?" He said, "I have two Fix A Heart and Clean." I smiled and said, "I like those." He said, "But the third?" We sat in silence and then I said, "The Heart Wants What It Wants." He smiled and said, "I really like that one. Shall we get to work?" I nodded and we started writing...

It's probably what's best for you
I only want the best for you
And if I'm not the best then you're stuck
I tried to sever ties and I ended up with wounds to bind
Like you're pouring salt in my cuts

And I just ran out of band-aids
I don't even know where to start
'Cause you can bandage the damage
You never really can fix a heart

Even though I know what's wrong
How could I be so sure
If you never say what you feel, feel
I must have held your hand so tight
You didn't have the will to fight
I guess you needed more time to heal

Baby, I just ran out of band-aids
I don't even know where to start
'Cause you can bandage the damage
You never really can fix a heart

Ooh, ooh
Whoa, whoa
Yeah
Ooh, ooh
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Oh, oh
Yeah

You must be a miracle worker
Swearing up and down
You can fix what's been broken, yeah
Please don't get my hopes up
No, no, baby, tell me how could you be so cruel?

It's like you're pouring salt on my cuts

Baby, I just ran out of band-aids
I don't even know where to start
'Cause you can bandage the damage
You never really can fix a heart

Baby, I just ran out of band-aids
I don't even know where to start
'Cause you can bandage the damage
You never really can fix a heart
Oh no, no, no
You never really can fix a heart
Oh no, no, no
You never really can fix a heart
Oh-oh, oh, oh-oh yeah-oh, oh, oh, oh
You never really can fix my heart

After we perfected the lyrics and then we recorded it and added the music and everything Scooter came back with lunch. I said, "Scooter you realize you said you'd get lunch 2 hours ago." He said, "I got caught up Justin was in the studio recording a song and he needed approval." I nodded and Scooter handed us our lunch and mine was a cheese quesadilla!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!! I hugged him and said, "I love you Scooter!" He laughed and I started eating and Blake played the song for Scooter and then he said he loved it and we finished eating and brainstormed names for the album. We still couldn't decide and Scooter said, "Do you guys want to work on another song did the next hour or so and then you can go home." Blake said, "Okay do you want to write Clean." I said, "Sure let's get started." We walked over to the booth and started writing clean...
