Finding Love

While they were doing my makeup I went on twitter and tweeted:

Which basically summed up my emotions. I then sat in my chair and let them finish my makeup. After they had finished my makeup was:
Flawless foundation, bronzer, and blush
Black winged eyeliner and a small black/brown smokey eye
Individual fake lashes and mascara
Red lip liner and lipstick
My hair then was in a slightly off centered part and it was curled, it was wavy but still curled. She handed me my dress and shoes and I put them on. My dress was a red quarter sleeve dress that by the waist it had all different shaped crystals/rhinestones and then toward the top and toward the bottom they became more spread out. The dress went down my my mid thigh and I had black pointed toe heels to finish off my look. Lee then added red fake nails and she said, "Are you ready the cars outside!" I said, "Ya." I went outside and got in the car. I went on twitter and saw Harry had not confirmed anything. I rolled my eyes and I felt as if I was going to break down into tears at any moment. We pulled up to the event and I got out of the car and made a straight face as I walked down the red carpet. After a while I needed to get away from the paparazzi so I walked over to where some fans were. There was a group of around 10 girls who I guess paid a lot to be on the carpet. I smiled at them and they looked so happy and surprised and a few of them were even crying. I said, "Come on guys group hug." I pulled them in for a hug and we pulled away and I said, "How are you guys?" They all said things like "good" and "awesome." One of them said, "Is Harry coming?" I felt my heart sink and I said, "Oh...uh I don't know!" I decided to change the subject and I said, "Do you guys want to take pictures?" They nodded and I took a bunch of individual pictures with each of them. I hugged them and my eyes started watering. I looked around and saw Maddie, Melissa, and Abby. Incase you didn't know Maddie had stared in the Sia video, Chandelier and it was nominated for the best choreography. I walked over to them and hugged them. I said, "You guys look gorgeous!" They said, "Thanks you too!" We talked for a little then I saw Demi, Taylor, and Selena. I walked over to then and hugged them and I heard people yell, "HARRY! LIAM! NIALL! ZAYN! LOUIS! OVER HERE!" I muttered, "Of course." My back was facing away from them and I heard Demi say, "Hey guys." I turned my head and saw the boys...of course. I turned toward them and backed up and stood next to Demi. I looked down at my feet so I didn't even see what they looked like. I heard Liam say, "Well don't you ladies look gorgeous!" Taylor said, "And you boys look very handsome." Louis then said, "Well I'm surprised you two aren't sucking faces!" Neither Harry or I said anything and then Louis said, "Well don't let us stop you! Come on boys well turn around!" I looked up and saw the boys jokingly turned around and I looked at Harry and saw his hair was quiffed back he was wearing a brown deep v see through button up shirt with a jacket over it. And to be honest if he hadn't dumped me I would have most likely have been "sucking his face." He looked at me and I looked back down. The boys turned around and Niall screamed, "CAUGHT YO-" They looked back and forth between us and they were really confused. I said, "Um...I'm gonna do some interviews." I turned away before anyone said anything and I started walking away. I walked over to Scooter and I said, "How many interviews do I have to do?" He said, "I think 10 or something I am not exactly sure." I nodded and we walked over to the first one and it was Ali Simpson. I hugged her and she said, "Well Brooke you look gorgeous!" I said, "Aw thanks you too!" She said, "Okay well I have some twitter questions from fans!" I said, "Okay!" She said, "First is about your acting career! Are you filming any movies soon?" I said, "I am actually filming a new movie soon but I can't say what it is but I am so excited!" She said, "Okay and next is...where is your favorite place to go?" I said, "I loved the UK and Dubai. I went there for New Year's Eve and it was amazing everyone was so nice and it was beautiful but I also love LA and being home!" She nodded and said, "Ya I agree I love traveling and all but home is my favorite place!" We both nodded and laughed and she said, "Okay next is about your fashion! We all love your outfits but in the mornings and all how do you chose your outfits?" I said, "Well I kind of look at the weather and then just throw on what looks comfortable!" She said, "Ya I agree I usually go for comfortable!" I said, "Ya except when I have to wear stupid heels just because I'm short!" She laughed and said, "Ya I feel you I always have that struggle!" I laughed and she said, "The next question is when you were younger who was your celebrity crush?" I said, "My celebrity crush was Jesse McCartney!" She laughed and said, "He was mine too!" We laughed and she said, "Okay now our last question is actually what a lot of people asked is are you and Harry ever going to move in together?" I said, "Um well we actually broke up." She said, "Oh my gosh what happened!" I said, "He broke it off and that's really all the information I know!" She said, "Aw well I love you guys!" I have a weak smile and she said, "Well I'm gonna let you go!" I said, "Okay!" I hugged her and then I walked over to the next interview and half an hour later us was finally done. The interviews basically consisted of asking about Harry and I and then me explaining how he dumped me over and over again. Finally Scooter had let me be done with interviewers and they lead me to my seat. Which just happened to be directly in front of the boys in one direction. The order was:
Zayn, Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam
Demi, Selena, Me, Taylor
Thank god I wasn't directly in front of Harry, but I was across from him. I sat down and I hugged the girls and Selena whispered, "Why didn't you tell us you and Harry broke up!" I said, "We didn't break up he dumped me." Demi said, "What did he say?" I said, "The it's not you it's me crap." Taylor said, "Oh my gosh when did he tell you this!" I said, "He didn't he wrote a letter." They all gasped and Louis whispered, "What are we talking about ladies!" They all stayed silent and sat back in there seats and Taylor said, "Ask the jerk." Louis turned to the boys and said, "Okay which one of you boys is the jerk!" Liam said, "Well I'm guessing it's you Harry!" Harry said nothing and the show started. Half way through the show it was incredible awkward. Neither the boys or us had said anything to either of us. But a few minutes ago the boys had went back stage to present the best pop video award. Which unlike usual I was hopping I would not win. The bet song ever started playing and a voice said, "Ladies and gentlemen from the new film one direction this is us please welcome one direction!" The audience cheered and the boys walked on stage and high fives fans. They got to the middle of the stage and Niall yelled, "WHATS UP LOS ANGELES! We are so excited to be here tonight at the VMAs in LA baby!" The audience cheered and Harry said, "We may be from England but tonight's VMA is about a world coming together and celebrating Los Angeles California." I turned to Selena and mouthed, "Shut the fuck up." Zayn said, "And now we will see if it's try what they say the best fans are in LA!" Louis said, "We are lucky enough to have won 3 VMAs last year and there's nothing like the feeling of being able to hold that moon man! So we are excited to give out this award tonight!" Liam said, "Here are the nominates for tonight's best video!" The screen turned on and played clips from the nominees videos. First was Bruno Mars, locked out of heaven. Next was Miley Cyrus, We Can't Stop. Then was Justin Timberlake, Mirrors. Finally was Me, Blank Space. I fake smiled but all I could think was CRAP! The audience is cheering really loud so I might actually win. Lastly was Fun, Carry on. The video ended and then Harry said, "And the VMA for best pop video goes to!" Louis opened the envelope and the boys all yelled, "BROOKE HYLAND BLANK SPACE!" The audience cheered and I stood up and hugged Taylor, Selena and Demi and Bruno Mars who was a few seats down. I then walked onstage with a smile on my face. Louis handed me the microphone and I hugged him. I then hugged Zayn and kissed his cheek, I did the same with Liam and then Harry was next in line. I didn't want to act like a diva so I hugged him and kissed his cheek and he mouthed hi and his hand touched my waist quickly. I then hugged Niall and kissed his cheek and Zayn handed me the award and I said, "Oh my god! This is heavy oh my goodness! Thank you so much! This had been such a great year for me and I wouldn't have done it without you guys so thank you so much- This is so cool! Thank you! I love you guys! Take care!" I waved and we all walked off stage. We got off stage and I handed the award to the person I usually did. I went to walk away but I felt someone grab my hand. I turned around and saw Harry. I pulled my hand away and I said, "Ya?" He said, "I just wanted to make sure you were okay." I said, "Ya of course I'm fine my boyfriend broke up with me through a letter." He said, "It was to hard to do in person." I said, "I just have one question." He said, "Ya." I said, "Did it have anything to do with the movie?" He didn't say anything and I said, "Because I would have given up the movie to be with you." He ran his fingers threw his hair and said, "I just...I felt as if we weren't as happy as we used to be." I said, "Well I was pretty happy because less than a week ago we were having sex and all of the sudden you aren't happy!" He said, "Brooke things changed!" I said, "What changed!" He said, "Us! We both changed and I just need some time! It's not like I don't love you because I do Brooke! God I am so in love with you! I just don't want us to get hurt." I felt a tear stream down my face and he whipped it away and he said, "I think we just need a break." He then walked away and I saw Melissa. I ran over to her and hugged her and I bursted into tears. She said, "Aw honey come with me!" She brought me into Maddie's dressing room where she was getting ready to perform. Melissa brought me to the couch and she said, "What's wrong Brooke!" I said, "Harry dumped me." She said, "Aw Brooke it will be okay!" She brought me in for a hug and after a few minutes I whipped my eyes and I quickly touched up my makeup. Melissa said, "Okay listen I don't know why anyone would breakup with such an amazing girl like you but everything happens for a reason and I want you to focus on your career and be the best you that you can be and if he comes back it will be meant to be!" I hugged her and said, "Thank you!" Melissa said, "Okay before you go I want pictures of you and Maddie!" I nodded and Maddie and I sat on the couch and took a few pictures and then what a few pictures turned into a photo shoot and Melissa even joined in on the pictures. I honestly was genuinely happy. I quickly posted one of Maddie Melissa and I laughing and captioned:

Then I went back into the audience and Selena said, "Are you okay?" I said, "I am now." She smiled and then Maddie and Sia came on stage. They did so good and at the end I stood up and cheered. I went on Instagram and posted a picture I took during the performance and captioned:
MADDIE AND SIA YOU KILLED IT🎉So proud of all you have accomplished! I love you😘
Next Beyonce came on stage and she said, "Last year I was honored enough to have won the female artist of the year!" The audience cheered and she said, "But this year I was given the privilege to present the female artist of the year award to an amazing artist...BROOKE HYLAND!" The audience cheered and I stood up and hugged the people around me and I went on stage and hugged Beyonce and she gave me the award and I said, "Wow this is amazing I can't believe a of my amazing fans who have not only honored me with one but two moon mans! You all continue to amaze me in everything I love you all! Thank you!" I walked off stage and the audience cheered and then I again gave the award away and watched the end of the show... At the end of the show I went home since I had to begin filming tomorrow really early. I don't know where Harry and I will end up but I hope we will find our way back...
