I had the same makeup I had in the beginning. My hair was still straight and it was in a deep side part and the less hair side was pinned back. I had stud earring and my dress was a red tank top body con dress and it had black stripes going down the side and then two black stripes on top. I then had black stilettos with a red bottom. I then had a black clutch. I walked back into the audience and sat back in my seat. The girls hugged me and Selena said, "YOU DID AMAZING!" I said, "Thank you!" We then watched the show and danced along to the songs and performances with the pll cast. We took a bunch of pictures and then Demi walked onstage and said, "Now this is the second to last award and this is the best female artist!" The audience cheered and she said, "We have many amazing singers in this category but... there can only be one winner!" The audience cheered and then Demi opened the envelope and smiled and she said, "Now this award goes to one of the strongest girls I know who has gone through so much but still manages to make amazing songs!" The audience cheered and she then said, "AND THE WINNER IS...BROOKE HYLAND!" The audience cheered and I smiled and stood up. Everyone hugged me and I then walked on stage and I hugged Demi. The audience was cheering and I went over to the microphone and I said, "I am so grateful for this opportunities I have been given and I want to thank you all for voting and being such amazing and dedicated fans!" They cheered and I continued, "Not only do I want to thank Scooter and my team for always being there for me! Thank you." I smiled and walked off stage and the people took the award to have my name put on it or something. I then quickly went back to the audience and then sat down. Jlo walked on stage and everyone cheered. She said, "Okay now this is the final award of the day! This is the cutest couple award!" I froze but then shook it off. We weren't even a couple so there was no way we could win. She continued and said, "Now the winner is...Brooke and Harry!" The audience went silent and I turned around and looked at my mom. She didn't know what to say. I said, "Mom I don't want to go up there!" She said, "Honey I think you have too." I was tearing up and I whipped my eyes and stood up and walked onto the stage. I saw Harry walking behind me and the audience slowly clapped. I hugged Jlo and she whispered, "Stay strong." I then went over to the microphone and Harry stood next to me and I moved over. For a moment none of us spoke and then I said, "Um well I think this award should go to a different couple because we are not together." Harry was about to start talking and then I walked off stage. I ran into a dressing room and I bursted into tears. I heard the door open and I looked up and saw my mom. I said, "Mom!" She hugged me and said, "It's gonna be okay sweetie." I said, "No it's not!" She said, "Honey you don't know that!" I said, "BUT I DO!" She said, "Well help you and support you through everything." I said, "I-I just need Cory do you know where he is?" She said, "I didn't see him." I stood up and whipped my eyes and walked into the hallway and walked over to a worker and I said, "Um do you know if Cory Monteith is still here?" They looked at their list and the lady said, "No he never came." I was so confused but I said, "Oh okay thanks." I grabbed my bag and then went through the back door and called a taxi and told them to drive to Cory's apartment. I pulled up and quickly paid the guy and then went to Cory's apartment. I knocked and after 10 minutes no one answered. I went under the mat and found the spare key. I unlocked the door and yelled, "Cory!" He didn't answer and I walked around and then I looked in the bedroom and saw him lying on the bed. I laughed and I said, "Cory wake up!" He didn't move so I walked over to him and shook him he still didn't move. I flipped him over and saw blood dripping from his nose. I froze and then grabbed my phone. I dialed 911 and the person said, "911 what your emergency?" I said, "MY FRIEND HES PAST OUT AND NOT BREATHING!" The person said, "Okay calm down what's the address?" I said, "23 STREET HUDSON APARTMENT BUILDING 3b!" The person said, "An ambulance is on their way!" They hung up and I continued shaking Cory and at this point I was in full on tears. I heard the ambulance sirens and then a few seconds later the door bursted open and they ran in and put Cory on a stretcher and rushed him down stairs and I followed them. They put him in the ambulance and I got in and road with them. We got there and drove to the ambulance. We soon pulled up and they rushed him in. I ran in after them and then a man pulled me back and said, "Sorry miss you can't go in there." I said, "I HAVE TO!" He said, "Just wait in the lobby!" I groaned and sat down crying to myself. I grabbed my phone and called my mom. She picked up and said, "Brooke where are you?" I said, "Mom I'm at the hospital." She said, "Oh my god are you okay?" I said, "Ya but Cory's not." She said, "I'm on my way." She hung up then I scrolled through twitter on my phone. I saw an hour ago Harry tweeted:
'So kiss him again just to prove to me that you can'
I then saw I was getting a bunch of hate and some girl commented:
Brooke is such a slut she kissed another guy! Harry is perfect he did nothing wrong no matter what anyone says you all should be hating on Brooke not Harry! She broke his heart and he loved her!!!
I retweeted it and commented:
That's funny because I'm pretty sure I'm the one who was cheated on... And I doubt he EVER loved me, I guess the tabloids are right...once a man whore always a man whore!!!
I hit tweet and saw a bunch of retweets and comments. I turned my phone off and then my mom came running in. I ran over to her and she hugged me and I cried into her shoulder. She said, "I called Cory's parents they're on the next flight in." I nodded and we sat down in silence and 20 or so minutes later the doctor came out. I stood up and walked over to him. I said, "What happened?" He said, "Cory was doing drugs and drinking alcohol so that caused him to loose consciousness." I said, "But will he be okay?" The doctor said, "He is in a coma now and we don't know if he will wake up." I started tearing up and the doctor said, "But we made sure that the press will not know anything about Cory until his family will release information but my team and I will do the best we can to save your friends life!" I said, "It's all my fault!" He said, "No you may have saved his life if you came even a minute later he would have been dead now." The doctor then walked away and my mom came over and said, "Let's get you home." I said, "No I need to tell Lea." My mom nodded and said, "I'll drive you." I nodded and she gave me a jacket and we walked to her car and got in and drove to Leas house. I quickly tweeted:
This day could honestly not get any worse.
We then pulled up and I hugged my mom and she said, "Do you want me to wait for you?" I said, "No I'm probably going to spend the night." She nodded and I got out of the car and walked up to her door and knocked. After a few seconds she answer. She said, "Oh my gosh Brooke are you okay!" I nodded and I said, "I just really need to talk to you." She nodded and let me in. We walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. She said, "What's wrong?" I said, "...it's Cory." She said, "Did you guys get in a fight beca-" I cut her off and said, "No." She said, "Then what's wrong?" I teared up and said, "H-he's in a coma." She said, "W-what?" I said, "He-" She said, "No I heard you! BUT I DONT BELIVE YOU!" I said, "Lea I don't want this to be true but Cory overdosed and-" She stood up and started throwing stuff and I grabbed her and hugged her and she bursted into tears and I tried to stay strong but after a few seconds I bursted into tears...
