I heard my phone start ringing. I groaned and picked it up and said, "Hello?" I heard Scooter say, "Hey Brooke at 1 you have a fitting for the movie premiere and then at 3 you have a cast interview!" I said, "Okay where should I meet you?" He said, "There is a dress boutique on the corner of third and Michael Kors is making you a custom dress and that's one of his studios." I said, "Ya I know what your talking about I've seen it before!" He said, "Okay I'll let you get ready!" I said, "Okay see you soon!" I hung up and then I went in the bathroom and I showered. I got out and blow dried my hair. I out it in a middle part and then I curled it slightly. I put on my usual makeup routine. Then I put on a dark red long sleeve cropped sweater. I put on my black high low shirt and black pointed toe heels. I grabbed my Celine purse and put my phone and a bunch of stuff in it and then I fed Marilyn and played with her for a little. I got in my car and then I drove to the studio and pulled up at 12:50. I got out and went inside past all of the paparazzi. I walked in and saw Michael. I hugged him and he said, "We have the dress in the back follow me!" I nodded and then I followed him and he showed me the dress. I said, "Oh my gosh I love it!" It was truly gorgeous. I put it on and then he fitted it perfectly to my body and an hour later we were done. Lee came in and Michael said he had to go because he had to make the changes for tomorrow. Lee sat me in a chair and touched up my makeup and then changed my hair. My makeup was the same except my lipstick was red and she added a little light brown eyeshadow. My hair was half up half down and curled.she handed me my dress and I put it on. It was a tank top with a sweet heart neck line and it went around mid calf. The dress was white with blue flowers on it and I had nude heels. I thanked her and then I hugged her and got in my car and drove to the address she gave me that was where the interview was. We pulled up and I went inside and the lady at the front led me into a room and I saw Scott. I hugged him and I said, "Oh my gosh I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!" He said, "Brooke I was you like a day ago!" I said, "Whatever shut up." I fake shoved him and then the interviewer came in. It wasn't like a live interview though. We shook the ladies hand and we then sat down and she said, "Okay well first in your own words kind of explain what The Longest Ride is about to you." I said, "Well it basically is about my character Sophia and Luke who meet at a bull-ride event and then there love story works into Ira and Ruth who had a similar love story back in the 40s." Scott said, "Ya and what I really liked was the whole 40s idea because I feel like in movies they don't usually do that and the 40s was such a great era!" I said, "What are you talking about you weren't even born!" He laughed and said, "You know what I mean!" We laughed and the interviewer said, "Okay and explain your characters." I said, "Well I play Sophia and she is a college student who is more reserved and works really hard to get her studies done and to get this certain internship. She is just really caring and dedicated!" Scott said, "And I play Luke who is trying to get back in the top of the bull riding. He is basically using the bull riding to hide his feelings of all the things that happened to him and he keeps more to himself." The lady said, "And how would you describe Luke and Sophia's relationship?" Scott said, "Well I would say that he defiantly pushed her out of her comfort zone and they sort of compliment each other." I said, "And even though in the beginning their relationship is more physical but as it develops they kind of become more into that emotional aspect." Scott said, "And there relationship is basically a spin off of Ira and Ruth and how they had developed!" The interviewer said, "And what do you think that Sophia and Luke have changed to be with the other person." I said, "Well they defiantly made a lot of sacrifices just as Ira and Ruth did. Like Sophia had given up her internship to be with Luke and to help him get better." Scott said, "And he had also given up things and sort of concord his fears and sort of became more emotionally opened!" I nodded and the interviewer said, "We also know that you did many stunts especially on the bulls so how did you do that?" Scott said, "Well growing up I had a family friend whose son was a bull rider and still is so I called them up I just brought some beers over and they just bucked bulls!" I nodded and laughed a little. She said, "And now out last question is...what do you want the audience to sort of take away from the film." I said, "I feel like I personally want them to be opened to love." Scott said, "And not to like a person it could be like a dog or something." I laughed and said, "Ya really anything!" We all laughed and then the interviewer said, "Okay now we actually are going to play a little game of never have I ever!" We smiled and she handed us cards one said:
I totally have!
And the other said:
No I have never!
She then said, "Okay first is never have I ever sang in the shower!" We both held up the I totally have! She said, "Well what's your go to song?" Scott said, "Lately what's love got to do with it." The interviewer and I laughed and I said, "Wait are you serious!" He nodded and we laughed and then Scott and I started singing, "What's love got to do with!" We laughed and the interviewer said, "Okay and next is Never have I ever lied about a birthday to get a free cake or something." I held up I totally have! And Scott held up No I have never! I said, "Wait you never had!" He shook his head and I said, "I actually do it a lot! Is that bad?" He laughed and then she said, "Okay then is Never Have I ever worn clothes to hide a hickey." I held up No I have never and Scott held up I totally have. He said, "No well if you actually get a comb and brush it it will like spread out!" I said, "It does?" He said, "Ya it actually works!" I laughed and he interviewer said, "Next is never have I ever had a fan girl moment!" We both held up I totally have. She said, "Like any recents or names?" I said, "Well actually when I worked on Monte Carlo I was with leighton meester and I grew up watching her on gossip girl and I like freaked out and when I first met people like Beyonce or Jlo!" Scott said, "I'm not gonna lie when I met Brooke I sort of fangirl!" I said, "Aw!" I hugged him and laughed and she said, "Now have you ever been attracted to a costar?" We both help up No I have never. We didn't really elaborate on that and next she said, "Okay have you ever been in love as Ira and Ruth." I held up I totally have and Scott held up No I have never. Scott said, "I think we all know who Brooke's Ira is?" I shoved him and said, "Shut up." We laughed and she said, "Okay have you ever cried during a Nicholas Sparks movie?" We both quickly held up I totally have. Scott said, "I honestly thinks everyone has!" I said, "Ya and especially a walk to remember and the notebook!" She said, "Okay and last is have you cried watching this film!" We both help up I totally have and Scott said, "Especially in the scenes of Ira and Ruth that we weren't in I got all chocked up!" I nodded in agreement and then the interviewer said, "Well those are all of the questions and I can not wait to see the movie!" We both said, "Thank you!" We hugged her and took a picture. Then Scott and I did a mini photo shoot. Aka I made him. I posted a picture on Instagram of me and Scott making weird faces and captioned:
Interviews with Scotty boy>>>
I then got in my car and drove home and took off my makeup and all and put on a face mask and watched a little tv, ate dinner, played with Marilyn and then I went to bed since I had a big day tomorrow!
