"And right there standing in front of me, was one of them, the guards. But not just any of them." I stop. "My friend." George looks at me, with a slight hint of confusion.

"Your- friend?" He looks away, glancing back over the next second. "I thought you didnt have any friends?" George then immediately covers his mouth as I start laughing. "I- I didn't mean it like that-"

"I know, I know. He was just the only person I talked to when I was there, I guess I didn't really consider us best friends, but it was something."

-

The bright light blinds me as I'm taken back. They can't catch me- I need to get awa-

"Clay?" I freeze. That- voice.

"T-Tommy?"

"Oh my god-" the light falls as I feel arms rap around me. I hug back, still eyes widen from the suprise. "Where have you been? I was so alone without you!" I giggle at the tone of his voice.

"Wow, you're much softer than I thought." I laugh as he grunts at me.

"You know I'm supposed to take you back, right? You wanted to leave, didn't you? This isn't helping your situation." My heart drops, remembering the reasons for everything. Especially remembering why I'm running. He then chuckles. "I'm just messing with you. I'm here to help." My ears perk up at the words, face left with confusion.

"But why?"

"What do you mean why? You were the only one there for me when I was taken into this thing. I'd say that I wished I didnt have any skill so this wouldn't have happened, but back at home was hard. Harder than this. Especially since you were there with me when I arrived." My jaw drops. Damn what happened when I was gone? He's never been this nice.

"Awww, thank you Tommy." I joke. I can practically see the steam spurting from his ears.

"Shut the fuck up. Want to get out or not?" I nod my head, starting our run while being covered.

-

"After that, we ran. Only got stopped once when someone asked him if he saw anyone suspicious. Luckily they didn't see me and he's a very good liar, so it didn't take much."

"That's just-"

"Quite a bit, huh?" I cut him off, we share a laugh. "Then I found you on the road. Tommy helped me carry you home as well, so if you ever see him, think about thanking him. He never usually helps people, this whole thing was a suprise to me."

After giggling at the whole situation, we start making our way back to the room. Our room. George then sits down at his computer, checking for any missed messages or important calls. Thinking about the conversation, I give out a calming sigh, it's over. The secret being kept in at least. I still have to tell him that- that we need to go. "Hey George-"

"No new messages- oh sorry, what was that?" He accidentally cuts me off.

"Oh never mind-"

"Nono, I've not let you talk to many times." He pauses for a second. "Just say it." Having another sigh, I meet with his eyes.

"We- we're gonna have to leave. We need to go." I watch George freeze.

"What do you mean? We can hide, they're only looking for you-"

"They have a tracker. That's how they found me. I can't stay here for long- and there's straight up evidence I was here! They'd be after you too..." I look off, thinking about how I can even say we need to just go, now. With a sigh, I prepare myself to say it. "George- I'm so sorry but- we both need to leave. We can be together, and everything will be okay! As long as we escape-"
