The rest of the day Shuichi spent in his room; there wasn't much to do in there, but the few books he found was all he had to try and distract himself from tonight. Though, he had to admit, as an advent reader like himself, the books were pretty interesting even if they looked used and worn out. But they were adventure novels Shuichi had never even heard of before and he wasn't picky when it came to genres, though one of them was in French and Shuichi wasn't able to read it unfortunately. But the other two he could read, and did in fact like very much. It was just hard to settle down and keep his mind focused when the thought of eating with Rantaro tonight was on the back of his mind.

"When Miss Tojo said eat dinner with him.. I wonder who's actually going to be eating tonight..." Shuichi thought with a groan, hiding his face in his book.

"Still... Miss Tojo and Shinguji seemed.. nice enough.. Even if Shinguji was a bit..."

"Such a lovely complexion; beautiful eyes. You truly are... beautiful."

Korekiyo's words didn't fade from memory, and Shuichi shuddered slightly thinking about them again.

"Okay.. he's definitely a little strange.. But he did keep me from getting eaten last night.."

Peeking up from his book, Shuichi glanced over at the window from where he was laying on his back on the bed. The sun seemed to be setting. Dinner time was probably soon.

Sitting up and setting his book upside down on the on the nightstand, so he didn't lose his place in the book, Shuichi stood up just as a knock was on the door and Kirumi made her presences.

"Apologises for the intrusion. But dinner will be served soon, and before you go out, Master Amami has sent you this," she explained, carefully holding up a gown on a hander, her arm underneath the skirt as she draped it across Shuichi's bed.

"Um, I .. I can dressed by myself..!" Shuichi made sure to quickly remind, just in case she would insist helping him get dressed. Though he didn't do too good a job of hiding the panic in his voice. And the silence between the two was unbearable, but finally Kirumi nodded, seeming not at all bothered and quietly left the room, allowing Shuichi to get dressed on his on without hassle, to which he quietly sighed with relief before looking over at the dress Kirumi left.

It was a deep royal blue, and when Shuichi grazed his fingertips across it, he realized it was made of a soft velvet material that ruffled at the edges; a black ribbon wearing an ornament; the front had stitched faded white flowers, looking handmade. Perhaps this dress was really made just for Shuichi, thus it being a gift.
