Chapter 107

SOLEIL POV

Me and Tremaine held hands as we walked into our engagement party and everybody started screaming for us.

I laughed and waved hi at everyone, squeezing Tremaine's hand out of nervousness.

I don't know why I was so nervous. It's just our friends and family, but a lot of people were here out of love for us. Which I really appreciated.

I finally got my bridesmaids in order and my maid of honor, and Tremaine has his groomsmen and best man.

The engagement party is now checked off the list, and we're gonna have a great time tonight.

The DJ handed us the mic and I immediately handed it to Tremaine because chile I am nervous about speaking publicly.

"Was good, we wanna thank y'all for coming out. Drink, dance and have fun celebrating wit us" Tremaine said and everyone started screaming again.

I hope everyone can be on their best behavior tonight. I invited my mom since we're getting along so well, and I warned her that Diana was invited and my dad as well.

I also told her if she didn't wanna come because of that I understood, and she said she still wanted to come. I made her promise to be on her best behavior and I made Diana promise as well.

Hopefully they'll just stay away from each other and keep it cute.

I seen my dad and Diana in the corner screaming for us and I smiled as I said "Hold on baby I'll be back" to Tremaine.

"Aight" He said walking over to his brothers and I walked over to Diana and my dad.

I guess they're back on good terms which is good.

"Hey! Thank y'all for coming" I said giving them both a hug one by one.

"Of course my baby" My dad said.

"You know I was gone show up and show out for you" Diana said and I smiled saying "Thank youuu."

"And you and Tremaine came matching, I see y'all" She said and I laughed.

"I asked him what color and he said blue and black so of course we went with that" I said.

"Getting closer and closer to that wedding date baby girl. How you feeling?" My dad asked me.

"Nervous but excited" I said.

"Ain't nothing to be nervous about, you'll make a great wife." My dad said and I hugged him saying "Thank you dad"

I noticed his attention went towards the front so I looked back and seen my mother walking in.

And she looked gorgeous. She really went all out tonight.

I then looked at my dad again and he was still staring. Oh goodness I just hope Diana doesn't catch on him staring that hard chile.

"I'll be back!" I said before making my way towards the front, and I walked up to my mother.

"Soleil! You look amazing" My mom said as we hugged.

"I was just about to tell you the same thing. Thanks for coming mama" I said.

"Oh of course, anything to get out the program for a bit. Thanks for signing off" She said.

"No problem" I said. By signing off, she means I had to sign the paper work for her to leave the program for two hours. So that's how long she'll be here.

"Everyone's looking at us" She said nervously as she turned away and I laughed. "They just know you're my actual mom. Nobody knew about you cause of the history and everything so I think they're just shocked."
