Chapter 101

TREMAINE POV

"Babe! You home?" I asked walking in Soleil's house, closing the door behind me and making sure to lock it.

"In the bedroom!" She said.

I walked in the room seeing her breastfeeding baby TJ.

"Hey baby, how was your day?" She asked giving me a kiss.

"Tiresome, just glad I'm home." I said.

"I'm glad you're home too." She said.

Soleil's on maternity leave so she won't be working for the next five months since we just had the baby.

Besides, she needs a break from work anyways. She's a new mom and she does enough.

"How was lil man?" I asked.

"He was good all day. Only cried once because he was sleepy but other than that he was fine." She said, as she finished breastfeeding and she pulled her shirt down.

She then started burping him and I just watched.

"You women are strong emotionally and physically. Gotta give it to y'all." I said and she smiled saying "I'm trying baby."

"Nah you're doing it." I said giving her a kiss.

"After I'm done burping him, I'm gonna cook. I just didn't have the time earlier to get it done before you came home." She said.

"You good baby, take your time." I said. "I'm finna hit the shower anyway" I added.

"Alright, thank you." She said.

"Also, I found this place in LA. It's a house that's on sale. I was thinking we could take a look at it. And if we both like it, we can see if we could combine our money for the mortgage and everything." I said.

"Oooh, okay. I know LA houses are a bit more expensive then Compton houses so we gone have to save up more bread I'm sure." She said.

"Yeah. I just want us to get our place together already so it won't be like this anymore where I come over here, you come to my place and allat. We have a kid now and he needs a stable household you know?" I said.

"Absolutely. We can look at the house you're talking about this weekend." Soleil said.

"Coo. I saved the number to my phone so I'll call and tell the owner that we wanna come look on Saturday." I said.

"Sounds good." Soleil said and I nodded my head.

"I'm finna hit the shower" I said.

"Alright baby" She said as I headed to the bathroom and started the water up.

When I was done showering, I had no shirt on and some sweats on, putting on some deodorant.

I heard Soleil playing music and I could smell the food she was making.

After I was done putting on deodorant, I walked in the kitchen seeing she had lil man in the high chair while she was cooking, and she was playing "I dedicate pt.3" by Brandy.

I stood behind her while she was cooking, holding her waist and she smiled turning her head a bit, giving me a kiss.

"I love coming home to you.." I said, even though I been home bout an hour and some change now. But it's true.
