Chapter 113

SOLEIL POV

"How you feeling?" Sa'Nay asked me. Today was my wedding day, and I was extremely excited BUT VERY nervous at the same time.

I got my hair done already and now I was getting my makeup done but this amazing makeup artist named Kelendria.

"I'm so nervous.." I said to Sa'Nay.

"Don't be, it's gonna be just fine and you're about to marry your man girl." She said and I smiled before taking a deep breath.

"And you're gonna look beautiful marrying him too" Kelendria said as she was doing my makeup.

"Thank you again for even doing this" I said to her.

"Oh of course! We finna hook you up" Kelendria said.

I took a deep breath and held my stomach, feeling nauseous. This happens a lot when I'm extremely nervous. Like I have to be SUPER nervous to feel sick the way I was feeling.

"You okay?" Sa'Nay asked.

"Just feeling a little nauseous." I said.

"You ain't pregnant again are you?" She asked and I laughed.

"No, no. It just happens whenever I'm like extremely nervous times ten." I said.

"You want a ginger ale or something? That might calm your stomach down" Sa'Nay said.

"Yes please" I said.

"Hold on- Can one of you grab Soleil a ginger ale out of the mini fridge really quick?" Sa'Nay said loudly to my bridesmaids.

"I got it!" Tamara, one of my friends I grew up with while I was in foster care said.

"Thank you so much Tamara" I said.

"Of course boo" She said before quickly leaving to get it.

"You gone be just fine girl, just relax and think about how in less than an hour you're about to finally be married to the love of your life." Sa'Nay said.

"You're right. Thank you" I said as we held hands and she intertwined her fingers with mine.

"Of course." Sa'Nay said.

"Almost done" Kelendria said.

"Okay" I said, and Tamara came back and ran over to me, handing me the can of ginger ale.

"Thank you baby." I said to her.

"Oh no problem" She said with a smile.

I instantly opened the ginger ale, taking a sip holding my stomach a little bit. The nausea wasn't that bad, but I could definitely feel it and I didn't like it. So hopefully this ginger ale will do the trick.

"All done beautiful! Take a look baby girl." Kelendria said to me and I stood up, looking in the mirror and my jaw dropped.

"Oh my gosh- This is so beautiful I could cry, but then I will ruin the work you just did. Thank you so much Kelendria" I said giving her a hug and we rocked from side to side.

"Of course pretty girl. No problem at all" Kelendria said.

"Now I just gotta put on my dress" I said excitedly, feeling the nausea still there kind of but it was going away. So I took another sip of ginger ale to help.

"Do you want everyone to leave out except for me while you put the dress on?" Sa'Nay asked.

"Yeah" I said.

"Okay, don't worry I'll take care of it" Sa'Nay said and I nodded my head and went to the back to grab the dress.
