They discovered long after that Alexander was only charged because his father was close to the former Emperor so he asked for his majesty's help.

Sometime after 3073, Alexander Wistal became the captain of the royal knights due to his monster-like ability. He led a lot of wars into victory and was blessed with the title as the God of War.

To which turned the Emperor into a tyrant.

He presumed no one would defy him because he has Alexander as his protector and is loyal to him but not due to the fact that he helped him get back to the imperial castle, it was because he knew what he was hiding in the forest.

The emperor used Nattarin to blackmail him into getting on his side. He did not wish to catch the virgin sacred fruit like the previous emperor as long as Alexander swore his loyalty to him.

They had an agreement to let Nattarin off the hook in exchange for his knight's oath.

And so when Alexander had a year-long break after the last war, the tyrant Emperor was murdered.

The aristocracy ordered him to get revenge and kill the breed of werewolves who were said to be behind the treason. Nattarin was against it and so was Alexander but he already swore his loyalty to the late Emperor and to its people.

And therefore, even though he did not want to participate in the werewolves' extinction he went and left Nattarin for another war.

On the day the sky is blue, Nattarin went out to get water to the nearby well that Alexander built years ago when she started her hobby of gardening.
