Chapter 18 Revenge

As they continue attacking him, the twins still haven't noticed their mom as Alexander's back was wide and bulky.

Why is he not dead yet?!

Realizing the man did not feel any pain with their attacks, the grubby little boy finally released his grip on the dagger and stepped back as he pulled away Mew also, leaving the sharp weapon still intact on Alexander's body.

While retreating, Mew sniffed the air and his ears perked up.

He wagged his tail and ran in front of the man, he froze for a second and began howling that echoed through the misty forest.

It continued for a minute and Suppasit got goosebumps. He avoided Alexander and sheepishly walked sideways to the black wolf so he will know what made his twin distressed.

And then he was frozen up too at the sight of their mother's gruesome state.

He quickly averted his eyes from her body, unwilling to accept what had happened to her and his eye met Alexander's.

He was shaking in anger, his eyes reddened and the tears that had been threatening to overflow finally did, coursing down his dirty cheeks.

"W-What did they do to our mom?" he breathed heavily and charged at the man in front of him with gritted teeth.

"YOU MURDERER! GIVE BACK OUR MOM! WHY DID SHE LIED THAT YOU WILL HELP US GET OUT OF HERE! JUST DIE! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Suppasit punched Alexander's chest with his small and weak hands while the man opened his mouth in shock.

Mom?

He seized the child's left hand while still holding Nattarin with his other arm and he fumed in anger.

Did those werewolves do this to her?

"O-Ouch! It hurts!" Suppasit screeched and tugged his hand.

Alexander did not realize he almost crushed the child's wrists so he let him go however, he grabbed the child's collar instead and pulled him up in the air.

"Did you just say he's your mom? Where the fuck is your father?!"

He yelled and shook his body. 

Out of anger, Suppasit scratched Alexander's arm until it bled and Mew helped him by biting it. They worked together to bring down the seven foot taller man.

"Let go!!! Mom said you'll find our father but we don't care about him any more! Just wait, I'm gonna bury you next to our real mom's grave! So just die! I hate you!" Supassit shouted and he wrapped his legs around Alexander's biceps like a snake.

Mew also rans on the other side and bites the strap of his scabbard to distract him.

"Real mom? So she did not give birth to the two of you?" The knight relaxes and he abruptly released the boy which caused Suppasit to fall hard on his butt.

He glared at him again and Mew ran to his side, licking his cheek.

"Tell me...what...happened to Rin or we are all going to die together right here right now."

Alexander carried Nattarin's lifeless body back inside the house and he laid her on the bed, wrapped her with a blanket and he let the kids sit at the table.

A bittersweet smile formed into his lips before covering her opened eyes with his palm and gently slid it down to close them.

"Wait for me...I'll definitely follow you after eradicating all those Wistals, who were responsible for your death."
