In an empty tent far from the campsite, Grey and the healer were meeting up privately.

The place they met up is where the statue of the high priest is built. It was secluded and quiet. A perfect place to have a secret meeting.

"Will this be okay? What if your nephew couldn't handle the pain?" the distraught healer asks as he holds the poisonous herb on his hand.

"He can bear it well, only if he really is one of us. If he is, he should be fine because when I was a kid and didn't want to attend my swordsmanship classes, I would eat that herb so I could show symptoms of fever and stomach ache to be excused for the day. Our body can regenerate so even if we drink acid we'll be alright, a mere poisonous herb won't make us die." Grey shrugs and puffs his cigarette stick, looking up to the huge moon as he leans on a trunk.

He's spacing out while talking to the healer that started mixing the herb in Kana's mushroom soup. He stirs the small pot, looking unsure with Grey's plan.

The two may look suspicious from what they are acting but in reality, Kana's uncle is doing everything to prevent Leo from talking to his brother's son. He would do anything just to protect him from having the same ill-fate as Mew's deceased mate.

"Should I just pretend to heal Kaiser later?" the healer asks to confirm.

"Yeah. Just pretend you are treating him and tomorrow, I'll poison him again until brother comes back."

"Is he okay?" Leo peeks from the healer's back. He watches how the old man touches Kana's bandaged stomach. He wasn't healing him but just making Kana drowsy by decreasing the pain he's experiencing.

Later on, Kana ended up falling asleep.

"It's a side effect of his memory loss. He still has a fever so refrain from making him stressed and give him some time alone." The healer briskly pulls up the blanket to cover Kana's shivering body and backs away from the bed. Leo then steps back to give him some space and crosses his arms. He eyed the healer who was hurrying to finish the treatment. He also took the almost empty bowl and spoon which isn't part of his job, Leo was beginning to get an inkling that something was amiss.

"Why did you make him sleep? I was going to chat with him, didn't I? And it's not your job to clean up his food. Let Grey do that." The man tried to snatch the bowl but the healer had a quick reflex. He hid it on his back and grabbed Leo's arm, chuckling nervously. Werewolves have a sharp sense of smell, so he couldn't afford exposing the poisonous herb.
