Chapter 32 Changes

Kana's PoV

"Close your eyes."

Huh?

I looked up to Suppasit and knitted my brows in confusion.

"Why would I?" I asked but then his grip on my hand became tighter. He looks annoyed now compared to earlier that he seems concerned.

"It stinks here. We should go back to the entrance." After he said that, I sniffed our surroundings, it is indeed stinky. I was about to ask why there is a ruined castle on this island but the room suddenly went distorted and once I blinked, we were already at the entrance of the hunting event.

Kao immediately saw us and ran to us. He scanned my body and every vampire began to pant. It was all due to my blood stains on my clothes.

When Suppasit realized that everyone was acting weird, the surroundings distorted again and we teleported in his room, in the palace. I didn't have time to take in everything that had happened, one second I was being attacked by a flying lizard, chased by some unknown creatures, discovered a ruined castle and now my identity was almost exposed.

In just roughly an hour I was close to my death for I don't know how many times already.

"Are you alright?" that tone again, I lifted my head and stared at Suppasit's face. How come he's being concerned about me once more? Didn't he hate my presence just a few days ago? Or am I just being sensitive today?

I was too stunned to respond so I only nodded as a reply. I was overanalyzing his actions towards me because why not? He's acting like the Suppasit I knew when he had his memories of me. Or maybe he got them back?

I tilted my head and peered at him.

No way?

I let out a chuckle.

There's no way that will happen. Lucy isn't even present for him to get back his memories.

"Why are you laughing?" I didn't notice I chucked so I immediately covered my mouth and shook my head.

"I wasn't- Anyways, why did you bring me here? My brother will freak out because of you." I looked away from him since we were too close, I stepped back and when I did that I saw a hint of disappointment from his face.

Wait a minute.

Disappointment??

Am I just seeing things?

I shook my head again and grabbed the side of my head. How am I supposed to get out of the palace? I shouldn't be here.

"Get in the bathroom."

I stared at Suppasit, dumbfounded.

"Bathroom?"

"Yeah, the bathroom. If you want to leave then wash off the blood from your clothes first." I looked down at my body and slowly nodded.

That's right. I'm injured but my body is already healed thanks to my father's ability. I glanced at him again and went to the bathroom without saying a word.

I started stripping off and submerged myself in the large bathtub made of marble, leaving only my face and ears out of the water.

It's still weird having to receive Suppasit's kindness. I'm not even his mate anymore so there's no reason for him to treat me like this. Or he's probably just a kind person regardless if I'm his mate or not?

However, he was treating me roughly a while ago before the hunting event began. 

Why the sudden change?
