Kana drank the medicine made by Eve and thanked her. The woman also gave her the recipe for the medicine. When the time comes that her medicine is fully consumed, he can make his own potion. All he has to do is to mix all the herbs and boil it together. The herbs are also available in the market so he wouldn't have a hard time buying them.

"In case of an emergency when your hands are tied and you can't drink the counter medicine, please wear this." Eve gave another thing to Kana.

This time, it's a ring that has two spikes.

"The inside of that ring has this drug, wear it on your index finger and you can scratch your thumb to it if you desperately need to take the drug. It will take effect immediately once the medicine gets inside your body."

"Thanks again, Eve. I'm forever grateful for your kindness. If you need my help. Please tell the Baron and I'll gladly-"

"No need my lord. You, saving my daughter is enough, you should be the one who needs to contact me if you need more medication for your body." Kana nodded and fixed his cloak as he walked out their door.

"I'll keep that in my mind, so live long and you too Elijiah. I'll entrust you Eve with some of my blood. If ever someone is infected again, I hope you can help them in my stead." Eve clenched the 100ml container bottle full of his fresh blood on her chest. It was Kana's parting gift to the family and also for the village.

"Thank you again my lord. I'll keep this safe."

Once Kana said his farewell to the two, he went back to Baron estate where everyone was gathered around.

The entrance of the estate is livelier than ever because of new knights that joined them recently.

Apo and Great are present too.

"Where have you been?" Kao greeted him with a hug.

"Uhm, I escorted the little girl back to her home. They let me eat first before I went back, sorry for being late, but what's going on?" Kana was looking around the tall knights. There's a lot of new faces he had never seen and they were a bit bigger than the Wistals.

"They are mixed breeds." Kao read his mind and answered his brother's curiosity.

Oh so there are half-werewolves.

"Are they? Then are we waiting for Sir Suppasit? Are we departing this early?"

It wasn't afternoon yet but all the things were already in the carriage and wagons. One can assume they are about to leave.

"Yes we are but he's going back to the palace."

"What? Why?"

"The emperor sent another letter, he's asking Suppasit to return and slay all the nobles of the anti-emperor faction. He thinks that this is a great opportunity to announce their true identity as werewolves and to let everyone know their race will rise again."

"Why so suddenly?"

"Hmm, Isn't it because everyone is afraid of the plague? they don't have time to think about the return of the beastmen. He said it's better to give a good impression first before everyone knows that the werewolves are related to the plague."

Kana is at a loss for words with the Emperor's plan.

Everything seems to be so rushed for him.

"How could they just forget about the history of the werewolves just like that? Wouldn't they be more afraid because of them?"

"I suppose no? After we get permission from our father, the werewolves will be the ones distributing the pills. They travel faster when they are in their wolf form, much faster than the vampires when they are flying."
