After the big revelation that Kana resembled the former sacrifice, it removed all his doubts and he eventually accepted the fact that he is indeed her son. If it came from the high priest himself, then he doesn't have any reason to question his identity.

But how did that happen? He doesn't remember any memories of his mom nor someone from his childhood, all he remembers is being in the orphanage already. And from his own observation, the high priest did not know the former sacrifice was pregnant and gave birth to him, only Lucy knows it. He just think they resemble each other.

But am I really certain that she's the only one who knows my secret?

He asks himself.

And so two weeks went by since then.

During the past weeks, Kana got crowned as the Empress. In the end, he wasn't able to tell them the truth since what can he do?

He's all alone in the Kingdom of the Vampires, he's the only human inside the castle and just one wrong move, he can get eaten alive. If he won't be the Empress then there's a high chance that he can be killed for their own benefits.

Now, all his plans about asking Suppasit to kill him is now gone as his identity has been confirmed. Furthermore, he can never die on the emperor's enemies hands; it's risky if he asked Suppasit to throw his body away as anyone can eat her flesh.

Speaking of Suppasit, he was still confined in the basement so in order to learn more about his circumstances, he visits the royal library everyday. He took that opportunity to research about his mom also to know what really happened to them in the past. Why did they got separated and how did he ended up in the orphanage.

"Empress Kana, it's time for your dance lesson." Earth came in with his instructor which is Kao. They don't trust Kana with anyone aside from themselves so they all do their best to teach her all the proper etiquettes that royal family members should have.

Kana stood up from her seat near her empty bed, right after being engaged up until today, the emperor did not sleep beside him. More on, he never slept and left his office, all the works of the empress were passed onto him since Kana still has a lot to learn, especially all the names of the state offices, who are the nobles in charge, their respective titles and which family they represent.

He needs to know all the laws and cities in their empire too before he can handle all the national affairs. Nobles are grant with an audience with the Emperor to voice out their issues and it's only granted with the Empress' approval so it's important to filter those people whose problem doesn't need the Emperor's advice and help.

Additionally, Kana doesn't need to learn more about mathematics, he knows the basics because he's been borrowing Lucy's books so he can study secretly in his room. Lucy taught him how to write and read also. Typically, orphans were never given an education until they got adopted but Kana is an exception. With his knowledge he can take care of overseeing the budgets and financial reports.

"Empress, after your dance lesson are you sure you want to learn sword fighting? I'm telling you now, our sword is too heavy for a woman to carry." Kao gave Kana a heads up because he's been asking them to teach him self defense when he saw the knights having training at the time he was touring around the palace.

The two are currently dancing in a spacious room. Kana is wearing a simple black tulle ball gown that shows his bareback while his front is well covered up to his neck.

Kao is carefully holding his waist as they twirl around and before Kana answers his question, he accidentally stomps Kao's foot with his 4 inches slingback heels that made the knight gasp in pain.

"Sorry.." Kana muttered again, biting his lips in embarrassment as he shyly looked down. He couldn't count anymore how many times he stomped his foot during their practice.
