SACRIFICE (BL) [COMPLETED]

Chapter 3 Palace

The armored knights that were stationed in the hallway as well as the maids and other nobles that they passed by took a glimpse of Suppasit and the unknown woman who was being dragged by her wrist. Their eyes were full of curiosity as they avoided the two who were striding in a hurry.

At the end of the hallway, Kao and Great spotted them while they were chatting and unlike the armored knights, they are wearing something light and flashy that only the members of the four knights could wear.

"Yo Suppasit~" Kao called him but he was ignored and Suppasit passed over without greeting the two.

The sacrifice then thought that Kao's voice was familiar so he looked back and tilted his head as he tried to remember who he was.

"Suppasit!!" Earth's voice echoed into the hallway, making all of them pause and turn to his direction.

"The emperor commanded to bring the sacrifice into his office. Don't ever think of opposing him again this time." It was evident from his tone of voice that it was a serious matter so Suppasit's grip tightened on the sacrifice's wrist. As much as he wants to lock up the latter and hide him, he can't do anything since the power is already on his twin brother.

They all silently escorted the sacrifice into his office and they waited for the emperor to arrive.

Am I getting freed? But that can't happen. Where would I go? I might get abducted again if I loiter around.

He bit his nails tensely while sitting on the sofa. The room has a high ceiling with several chandeliers hanging around and it was full of golden decorations and furniture that he had only seen in the books.

"That's the sacrifice? I thought she was just one of Suppasit's meals." Great whispered to Kao, obviously joking to lift up the mood and it was loud enough for everyone to hear inside the noiseless room.

The sacrifice sweats and secretly glances at the knights behind him.

So it's true that they eat humans? But Earth said they don't...did he lie?

"Pfft— stop your crap, you're scaring her." Kao held his laugh and Earth stomped on his foot to shut him up.

"Don't use your ability on her Kao." he warned and the sacrifice is puzzling about what Earth meant by his ability at the moment the emperor went inside.

"Your majesty." they all greeted and bowed except for Suppasit who was sitting next to the sacrifice, specifically on the sofa's armrest.

The emperor told them to raise their heads and sat across them.

Earth instantly prepared his tea and went to the other side of the room where the tea sets are stored.

"Guard her chamber tonight and Kao, asked Apo to report what's happening in Arzonia." he didn't beat around the bush and assigned them their duties.

"And Suppasit, try to wear your proper uniform the next time I see you. The nobles are gossiping how unprofessional you look."

"Their uniform is ugly and this robe is way more comfortable so no." Suppasit responded without batting an eyelash.

The emperor exhaled and did not bother to persuade him once more. 

"By the way, your grace, I thought we would release her later." Great commented which made the sacrifice violently shook his head in objection.

Everyone gazed at him, perplexed about his strong protest.

"P-Please don't. I don't have any place to come back to. I was born to be a sacrifice and they only let me stay there because of that sole reason. I have lived for this day and as long as I have this mark, the purpose of my life is none other than being sacrificed to the emperor." he pleaded before pulling down the fabric that was covering his neck.
