Chapter 34 Bridge

Kana's PoV

"Lord Suppasit!"

Frantic, the knights exclaimed so I darted my eyes at the stair where Suppasit was standing with a sour expression.

What...

"W-What are you doing here?!" my body moved on its own and ran towards him. I held both of his arms and he did the same. He shouldn't be with us. He might get infected too!

I looked behind to check if Obi is really back to normal, what if he suddenly goes vicious and attacks everyone including Suppasit? I'm not even one hundred percent certain that my blood-

Suddenly, I felt something wet and soft touch my elbow.

I looked ahead and there was Suppasit clutching my left arm, gently licking the blood dripping from my elbow up to my wrist.

What....is he doing?!

I pulled my arm from his grip, but he was grabbing it tight that I couldn't move a muscle.

"N-No! L-Let me go!" Regardless of how I resisted he ignored me and continued to lick every part of my trembling arm.

What is this?

Rather than seeing desire in his eyes, he's more on infuriated than being crazy about my blood.

Just what the hell is happening to him? I tried to pull my arms with all my might again but our eyes met and I got chills at how he scowled at me.

He's mad.

He's absolutely pissed right now that I forgot how to breathe for a second.

After he was done licking my arm clean he's now looking at Obi's bite mark and I didn't foresee what happened next.

I just thought he'd stopped already since there wasn't any blood dripping anymore....but this...this guy....went really insane and bit at exactly where Obi sank his fangs into.

I winced and almost slapped him but I held myself and closed my eyes, repressing my silent cry.

IT FREAKING HURTS!

His teeth are too sharp and thick compared to a vampire's fangs.

Now, I'm aware he's really a werewolf. His teeth are just different from others!

"What do you think you're doing to my brother Suppasit!" Kao finally reacted and split us up with the help of other knights. My arm bled again from where he bit me but it was slowly closing up.

He must have been infected! That's the only reason I accept why he's acting like that!

"You. Who told you to drink his blood?" Suppasit wiped the corner of his mouth before glaring at Obi who's still on the floor. The latter then replies, bowing his head down unable to look at him straight.

"I-It was L-Lord Kaiser...."

"You ordered him to do that?"

He doesn't seem like he's infected now that he's back to his normal self. By normal I mean his usual persona. Haa. I don't know what's going on in his head.

Anyhow, I run my mouth too recklessly without thinking what information I was about to slip out.

"Yes I did and what about it? He was getting infected so I need to-"

Hold on, he doesn't know I'm a sacred fruit anymore. It will complicate things more if I reveal it to him.

"You need what?"

"I need...." my pupils shakes in terror as I gathered my thoughts.

"What? Tell me, this instant." Suppasit began to be impatient and I just caressed my arm to purposely guilt trip him.
