Chapter 46 Recovery

Blinding light and chirping sound of the birds woke Kana up.

He rubbed his eyes but he was surprised when a strong arm spooned him and he felt someone's warm breath on his back.

Confused, he stared at the arms wrapped on his stomach for a short while before turning around to see who slept with him.

And then, he saw Suppasit's face buried on his back, half-naked.

He cautiously turned his whole body around to not wake him up so Suppasit ended up on his chest, sleeping soundly like a baby.

He took a hold of few strands of his long white hair to stare at and he remembered what had happened last night.

Right, I drank his blood.

It was bitter but for him it tasted good.

He decided to imaginarily store all the embarrassing things last night in a box, locked them and threw it on the cliff. Just as Suppasit said, it was normal for vampires to react that way so he's gonna forget all of those things once and for all.

"Mmm?"

"You're awake?"

Suppasit stretched his arms and groaned, and Kana watched all his muscles in his arms flex. He was impressed by how prominent his biceps were. Compared to him, his body looks like a stick next to him.

"What are you doing in my bed?"

Kana sat up and he noticed his body became a little bit better today, though he still felt dizzy if he moved a lot.

"I tried sleeping on the couch, but you didn't want to let go of my clothes. You ripped it, see?" Suppasit reached something from the floor and showed Kana his ripped vest and shirt that has no buttons anymore. That night, the knight truly wants to sleep on the couch but Kana got thirsty again while he was asleep so Suppasit let him bite his neck while they were lying down, when Kana went back to sleep, he was clutching Suppasit's clothes and the knight tried to pull away from him but ended up ripping his clothes in the process.

Kana had no memories of it as he was half asleep at that time.

"Are you hungry? I'll ask the maid for your breakfast.." Kana yank Suppasit back to the bed when the knight stood up. He flopped down and Kana shyly glanced at his neck.

"C-Can I?"

He ambiguously asked.

"Thirsty?"

"Y-Yes.."

"....Sure why not." The knight laid down on the bed again and pointed at his neck.

"Come here." so Kana leaned and joined him in lying down.

"Tell me if it hurts..."

"Wow, now you're asking that?"

Kana pouted and smacked his chest and the knight chuckled with his adorable response.

"Easy." As the man sips his blood, Suppasit enlightened him about his condition.

"You know, your father said that it's your first time drinking someone's blood. Is that correct?" Kana nodded, still sucking on his skin with him facing sideways and Suppasit's arm wrapped around his waist.

"If that's true then don't endure your thirst, don't ignore it also. If you get super thirsty, you can be violent and worse, if you bite someone you can kill that person by sucking out all the blood from his body so you must always inform me if you're hungry or thirsty. Your father already told me I should give you my blood therefore don't feel burdened."
