Chapter 21 Tribe

The news of the long lost heirs quickly spread like a wildfire to all the noble families and even the citizens. It caused an uproar among the nobility and they demanded for the current Empress to step down.

Alice wasn't bitter about it as it was her lifelong wish to live normally since then but because the twins didn't know anything about how to manage the empire, they had to study for five years to be eligible for the crown.

And because Mew still isn't stable in shifting, Alexander made a story that Mew's health is not that great so he was always confined at his room to lessen the possibilities of being caught if he ever shift into a werewolf therefore Suppasit became the Emperor at the age of 15 years old and he was the youngest Emperor in history.

No one was against of him taking the throne at a young age because he proved himself that he's the most powerful being in the world. With his power, he was able to save all the lands in drought by making the rain drops which he was the reason why there aren't rains to begin with.

With that, he was treated as God by humans but also feared.

Alexander then started travelling to get information of werewolf survivors. In a span of a year, he was able to locate the tribe where the purebloods of werewolves lived. It was in the North East, a forgotten desert of the Human Kingdom.

It wasn't easy to get their trust after all he was the one who killed 60% of their population. He was held hostage for a month inside a wooden cage which he can effortlessly break but he chose not to, they brutally tortured him many times like stabbing the cage with ten or more spears at every direction but since he can regenerate he managed to stay alive.

After several tries of asking them to listen to his story, the leader of the tribe Lucy gave him a chance to talk because he wouldn't let them sleep. He screams like a madman just to get their attention and the smell of his blood was making them uncomfortable.

He revealed that the new Emperor is half vampire and werewolf, they are twins and the two are the sons of the late Empress and a slave werewolf of the late Emperor. Upon disclosing the secret of Emperor Suppasit, they were left out of words.

"Which slave? Do you know their father?" Lucy asked and Alexander shook his head to say no.

"I could only tell you that he has elemental abilities and can control nature, he's the reason why the sun hasn't been rising after my lover died. My lover Nattarin was the one who raised them so after she was brutally killed by my family, he did not let the sun rise ever again. And it is also the one that drove him to avenge his mother figure."

"So trust us, come with me and we will create a place where you can hide and live peacefully under his protection. I need your help also to track other survivors so we can bring back your Kingdom. It was her last wish that we wanted to achieve."

Lucy and other werewolves glanced at each other, they had the same expression, amazement.

"Did you just say he can control nature? That's one of our King's powers!"

"King?" Alexander gawked.

"Yes. The prince was abducted when he was only five. Abductions were rampant at that time and we didn't know if he inherited our majesty's power but if the Emperor has it that means, the slave was our Prince, the son of our late King!" Lucy rejoiced and so were the other tribe members. They raised their spears and howled together.

Stunned, Alexander's mouth forms a grin.

Who would have thought the twins were born from both royal families.

Alexander went back with the tribe and they were relocated to Arzonia. But before assigning a troupe to protect them, Alexander disposed of his father first.
