Mikey P.O.V
We spent about 6 hours in the studio and we wrote 5 songs to go on our album and we've recorded one! So exciting. We were all happy with the work we'd done but I'd noticed that Betsy and Charlie hadn't spoken. Weird.
"Hey Bets, can I ask you something?" I said as we were leaving the studio.
"Sure." she replied.
"Is everything okay with you and Chuggs?" when I asked she looked down, "I take that as a no... What's wrong?"
"Nothing," she said, forcing a smile, "don't worry."
"Tell me." I said putting my arm around her shoulder. When I did this I noticed that she flinched, "Sorry..." I said awkwardly as I pulled my arm away.
"No, Mikey. It's fine, I'm sorry." she said, "You just took me by surprise." she forced a little chuckle.
"Bets..." I began but I was interuped by Parisa calling for us to hurry up. I gave Betsy as comforting smile and we both headed to the car. No one really talked on the way back and when we pulled up outside the house everyone hurried inside without saying a word. Parisa went straight to her room, Charlie went to his room and Betsy went to the living room. I followed her.
"What's wrong? You've been quiet all day." I stated as I sat down beside her.
"Mikey, it's nothing." she said with a sigh.
"Don't lie."
"It doesn't matter." she moaned, "Charlie and I just had a bit of a disagreement earlier. That's all." I didn't say anything I just raised my eyebrow. She was still lying to me but I wasn't going to push it anymore because she's probably get angry. We sat in silence for a few minutes and then Betsy stood up.
"I'm going to bed. Night, Mike." she said sternly. I stood up too.
"Night." I said and then I did something really really stupid. Instead of giving her a hug I kissed her.
WHAT.
"What are you doing?" she half yelled whilst pushing me away and steping back.
"Bets, I'm sorry. It was an accident."
"Accident?" she said sounding annoyed. I looked at her apologetically but she just crossed her arms and left the room.
Why did I do that? I'm such an idiot. It's going to be so awkward...
