A New Novel

Anastasia
I still use Laura as my pen name and write a book about this recent event in our lives but I change it to another place and events and ages. It's called Don't Drink The Water. My new editor loved it and made sure no one connects Hyde with this book. So we variate on the story a bit more. Two months later SIP has did a second run of A Father's Love. Don't Drink The Water has been released and after some rewriting the is good to be published. It is based out of New York story wise.
Raymond
We are headed to finally visit the Grey family. Carrick definitely had some issues with the contract that Hyde tried to get Anastasia to sign. It gave him a huge percentage of all the books he signed on. Carrick contacted Jerry Roach and told him he needed to do something about those contracts of Hyde's and soon.
Carrick
I am going to represent those authors of Hyde's who were victims of his in more than one way. I just wonder how he would have handled seeing an eleven year old arriving at the restaurant with her father that day if Hannah hadn't ratted him out. She was being blackmailed as well, but her conscience got the better of her seeing Anastasia and that she was walking into a trap. Hannah was very forthcoming and Hyde has never seen Anastasia, but he knows the author was a child now. He said a few things about being set up. He tried it was consensual sex. Evidence proves otherwise. He was ordered to make reparations to each and every one of his victims.
Grace
I am glad to finally see Anastasia again. They arrive and Mia is excited to see the author of her favorite books. She runs downstairs and welcomes Anastasia and hugs her then asks for her autograph. She brings her new book Don't Drink The Water as a gift and she signs it. It is the first book of the first printing.
Mia
Omg I can't believe mom and dad knew her when she was a baby. Mom didn't say much more about that time. She said that if Ray wants to talk about it he will, but he doesn't want Anastasia to know much about that time in her life. I try to get a conversation going with her and she tells me how she started writing and she has books she hasn't been brave enough to get published yet.
Anastasia
I have questions fired at me from Mia asking me all kinds of questions. Mia wants me to meet her school friends. They admire me as well. I look at dad and he nods an okay and I agree to meeting her classmates. She asked if I could come and talk about why I started writing and how I decided to publish my books.
Grace
Let's take this one step at a time can we? I look at Mia and she understands she is asking a lot of Anastasia.
Mia
I understand if you don't want to, but it would be good incentive to others who want to develop their talents in areas they are proficient at an early age. I am trying to cook and design clothing and sew it myself and you were my inspiration when I found out how old you were. Christian has built his own company and owns his building it operates in. Elliott is working and getting his degrees as well.
Christian
I finally make it home and see a truck I recognize from years ago. The name Steele carpentry is very familiar to me. Elliott drives up as I am headed to the door to open it and walk in and go wash my hands after dealing with contracts all afternoon, my hands have ink on them.
Elliott
Ahh I know who that is and I bet his daughter is here with him. Mia is in hog heaven because his daughter is her favorite author. Dad knew the witness protection name just in case he had to be in contact with him. He had to make him aware of Elena Lincoln trying to find them. I heard the conversations and things were scary back then, since we had to make sure to report seeing Elena. Luckily I spotted her and reported her to my principle and she was arrested along with her husband. Carla, Elena, Richard were all killed in prison, Stephen Morton was a name I recall very well. I read the whole story and so did Christian. We have a good idea what happened back then. We found out after the arrest at our school. Christian goes to the table and I head to wash my hands as well. Christian is sitting next to Anastasia. I sit next to Mia. I ask how they have been doing and they both say they are doing good now.
Christian
I still remember those beautiful bright blue eyes from when she was a baby and we thought she was our baby sister. She is still a tiny person. We are both very quiet. I remind myself she is a child. Mia is talking about books and the fact Anastasia is a best selling author. Mia rambles on about A Father's Love by Laura McDermott and that is Anastasia's book. Everyone at work is talking about that book. My PA just finished the book and has given her copy to a co worker. I can't stay here and sit by Anastasia this feeling is wrong that I am having so I tell everyone goodnight and head to take my plates to the kitchen and go to my car and drive to my apartment that is in the top of the building I own.
Anastasia
I have never felt this way, but Christian does things to me and it is so wrong. I am glad he left when he did. I am too young for these feelings and I am going to keep my distance.
