After classes I showed Emma my dress and she loved it. I told her about how I had to go with Severus yesterday to get it.

"Oh my god. That sounds horrible." she said grimly. I shook my head.

"It wasn't as bad as you would expect. He went to get stuff for class and I just went to the dress shop. There was barely any talking involved." I explained

"Well at least you got a dress." she stated. "Hey, It's almost dinner. Wanna go down together?"

"Sure." We got up off my bed and started off towards the great hall.

When we got to the great hall I heard someone call my name. I looked over and it was Draco. He waved me over to go sit with him. I looked at Emma and she shoved me forward. Indicating that she wanted me to go over there. She gave me a smile.

"Have fun!"

"Ya right." I said. I walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down next to Draco.

"Glad to see you joined me." greeted Draco.

"Thanks for inviting me I guess."

"Hey Y/N." said Crabbe and Goyle together.

"Hi."

"So, I gotta go now but I just wanted to tell you to meet me in the library tomorrow at noon. I can walk you over to your house table if you would like."

"Umm sure." Draco stood up and extended his hand out to me. I took it and stood up. I tried to let go of his hand but his grip tightened. As we walked over to the tale, I felt someone staring at me. I looked up at the staff table and saw Severus staring at Draco and I. He looked mad? Draco finally let go of my hand and I drew my attention back to him.

"Bye." He said to me. He turned and left out of the great hall. I sat down next to Hermione. Across from us was where Emma and Noah were sitting.

"You're blushing!!" exclaimed Emma.

"No I am not!" I said. Hermione looked mad.

"What are you doing with him?" spat Hermione.

"What do you mean?"

"He hates 'mudbloods' and last time I checked you come from muggles."

"He said that he doesn't care about that." I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Then why does he call me a 'mudblood'?"

"He said that you guys have a mutual hatred for each other."

"Well I don't like it." said Hermione. She looked really upset.

"I will talk to him ok?" She nodded her head.

"I don't think he will listen to you." she said.

"Actually, he likes her so he probably will." Interjected Emma.

"Yes thank you Emma." I said.

"Whatever. Bye guys." said Hermione. She got up and left.

"She will get over it." Said Emma.

"Ya I know."

"Anywayssssssss, what did Draco want??!?!"

"He just wanted to tell me to meet him in the library at lunch tomorrow."

"Oh my godddd!!" she squealed. I love Emma but, Honestly, all this boy talk gets annoying after awhile. I thought bitterly. "You have to go!" she said.

"Ya I probably will. Listen, I am getting tired so I am going to go now."

"But the desert hasn't even been served yet!"

"That's ok. I am not that hungry. Bye." I got up and left the great hall.

I walked down the castle steps and out onto the dark grounds. It was really cold out. I felt goosebumps on my arms. I wish I grabbed my cloak. I thought. There was a light coat of snow on the ground. I started walking around near the Forbidden Forest. I walked along the edge of the forest for about 10 minutes when I came across a swing set. It only had two swings. I went over and sat on one. I didn't swing, I just sat on it.

After a little while, I saw movement near me. It was hard to make out because it was so dark out.

"Y/N? What are you doing out here?" asked a deep voice. Severus. He walked over to me.

"Oh, hi Severus." I said. "Just getting fresh air." I started shivering because I was so cold. He must have noticed because he took off his cloak and wrapped it around me. He sat down on the swing next to me. "Aren't you going to be cold?" I asked.

"No. Why are you out here.?"

 I sighed. "It doesn't matter."

"Yes it does." He insisted. 

"Well, Hermione is mad at me because I have been hanging around with Draco." 

"Do you like Draco?" I looked over at him. He looked jealous?

"Why are you asking me that?"

"Because I am your friend. You talk about stuff like that with Emma." 

Severus is usually pretty casual with names. He met a lot of us as our first name so he calls us by it. Except for Harry. He hates Harry with a passion. 

"Well ya but, she's a girl. And anyways, I don't want to talk about boys. I am sick and tired of it. That's all anyone is talking about right now and I absolutely hate it." 

"I am sorry Y/N." He whispered. he stood up. "Come on, let's go inside. It's cold out here."

 I nodded and stood up. 

He shyly grabbed my hand. We started walking to the castle hand in hand.

When we got in the entrance hall he let go of my hand. I missed the warmth of it. I quickly took off his cloak and handed it to him.

"Thanks." I said. 

He smiled at me. "Of course. Now, head up to your dormitory and get some sleep. You need to be well rested for my class tomorrow." 

oh ya, I have potions tomorrow. I nodded my head.

"Bye Severus." I said and started off towards my room.
