I was in my dormitory with Emma and Hermione getting ready for the dance. I was super excited and nervous. I had never been to a dance before. Ron ended up asking Hermione so we all had dates!
The past week I had tried my best to not hurt myself because I didn't want anyone to see it.
"I am so excited!" said Emma while I pulled my dress on.
"Me too!" said Hermione. Emma turned and saw me. Her eyes went wide.
"Oh Y/N, you look amazing!" she gushed. Hermione looked up at me from doing her makeup.
"You do look beautiful." She said. I blushed.
"Thanks guys. You both look gorgeous" I replied. Emma was wearing a lilac purple dress and Hermione was wearing a fire red dress.

"I suppose you can. But, nothing too crazy."
She smiled. "Yay!" she put some light eyeshadow, mascara, blush, and a light coat of lipstick on me. When she finished she looked over her work. "Perfect." she smiled. We stood up.
