I am walking down the hallway in the dungeons. Last night I had gotten a letter from Severus telling me to come to his classroom during dinner.

When I got to the door I took a deep breath and turned the handle.

The room was dark except for the fairy lights that ran around the room. All the desks had been removed. In the middle of the room was a two person table. On the table there were gourmet serving trays, and candles. Severus was standing next to one of the chairs. He is holding a bouquet of flowers. I felt my heart swell.

 He smiled easily at me.

"What is all this?" I asked.

"It's for you." He walked over to me. He pulled me gently all the way into the room and shut the door behind me. He held the flowers out to me. "Here." I took the flowers from him and smiled.

"You didn't have to." I said.

"I know I didn't have to but I wanted to. Come sit down." We walked over to the table. Severus pulled a chair out for me. I sat down and placed the flowers on the table next to me. . He scooted me in and went to sit down across from me.

"I cant believe that you did this for me." He gave a boyish laugh.

"What, you can't believe that I am capable of doing nice things?" I shook my head.

"No its just that I don't really see you doing this sort of thing."

"Well now you do." I gave him a small smile. "Anyways, lets eat." I nodded my head. I lifted the cover off my tray. On my plate was pasta.

 It smelled and looked delicious.

We have been eating silently for a few minutes. I suddenly remembered something Emma said.

"Hey Sev?" He looked up.

"Yes love?" did he just...

"Love?" I questioned.

"Yes. What were you going to ask?" 

I felt my face getting hot. "Umm well, I told Emma a few days ago about us. I promise she will keep it a secret. She is really good at it. But umm she asked me to ask you if you could be a little nicer to her? And to ummm go easy on the grading?" 

He laughed. "I will see what I can do."

After that we didn't speak for a while. "Are you still with Malfoy?" asked Severus. Why does he always ask this??

"Ummm ya."

"Are you planning on staying with him?" I could sense the venom in his words.

"I am not talking about this right now."

"Yes you are."

"Severus, I don't want to end up ruining this moment."

"If you don't want to talk about it then leave." 

He spat. "You can't be serious." I scoffed.

"Oh but I am. Talk about it or leave."

"Fine." I quickly and angrily got up. I stormed off to the door. I looked back over my shoulder. "Just so you know, you are the one that ruined tonight." I left the room. I looked at the clock in the hallway. There was still about twentyish minutes left of dinner. I decided to go to the Great Hall.

When I got there I sat down next to Emma.

"Aren't you supposed to be having a magical evening with Severus?" She asked quietly. I shook my head and before I knew it tears were streaming down my face. Emma pulled me into a hug. "Oh sweetie what happened?"

"Not here." I whispered.

"Are you ok Y/N?" asked a voice from across the table. I looked over and it was Harry. 

I nodded my head. "Ya just stupid girl stuff." I wiped my eyes. Harry looked really concerned. "I promise I am fine." Emma nudged me. I looked at her. She jerked her head towards the staff table. I shifted my gaze up to the table. Severus must have just sat down. He was staring at me. He looked regretful and angry. I will not feel sorry for him. "Hey do you wanna go back to our room?" I asked Emma.

"Ya." We got up and headed off towards our dorm.

We were laying facing each other in my bed.

"So what happened?" Asked Emma.

"Well, he set up a really fancy dinner for us. He even got me flowers. But he started asking about Draco. I told him I didn't want to ruin the moment so I wouldn't talk about it. He then told me that I either talked about it or left."

"So you left?"

"Yeah. The moment was ruined anyways so I don't think it matters if I stayed or not."

"I agree. I would have left too. Try not to dwell on it. He should know better than that." I sighed.

"I am so glad I have you Emma." she smiled.

"I am glad I have you." she said. "Anyways, I think you should talk to him about it. Are you planning on staying with Draco?"

"I don't know. I have been leaning towards breaking up with him. I just don't know how."

"Just meet up with him in the library or some empty hallway none uses and just tell him that you want to break up."

"Maybe. I just don't know when."

"Do it as soon as possible."

We talked for a while longer and eventually drifted off to sleep.
