The Malfoy mansion was in front of us. Mr. Malfoy and I walked up to the house.

"Is Draco here?" I asked.

"Yes but he has been confined to his room."

I nodded. Mr. Malfoy opened the door and led me inside.

He led me to a set of double doors. He opened them and we went inside.

Inside was quite dark. The only light came from the fireplace. There were no windows. There were couches and chairs everywhere.

There was a large and elaborate chair facing the door. Sitting in that chair was a man. But he didn't really look like a man. He had greyish green scaly skin. Like a snake. If a snake took human form, that would be it.

Across the room someone laughed. I looked over. I remember her. Belatrix.

"What is so funny?" Asked the snake man.

Belatrix walked over to me and smiled. "Are you taking me up on my offer?"

I kept my chin held high. "Yes." I feel nothing. I don't feel scared even though I know I probably should. Maybe it's all part of the mask I put on.

She turned to look at the snake man. "Oh I like her."

"Come here Y/N." Commanded the snake man. He must be Voldemort. I thought. I had never seen what he looked like before.

I crossed the room and stopped a few feet away from Voldemort. I bowed. "My lord."

"Lucius here tells me you are interested in becoming an official death eater."

"Yes my lord." I said without hesitation.

"How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"You are quite young to become a death eater."

"Age means nothing."

Voldemort said nothing. Did I say something wrong? After a moment he nodded. "You are quite right. But what will you do for me?"

"Anything you need me to. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty."

"Well that's wonderful to hear. So you are willing to kill anyone for me?"

"Yes. Anything."

Voldemort stood up and walked closer to me. "Give me your arm."

I slid the sleeve of my jacket up on my left arm and held it out to him. His cold hands clasped around my wrist. His grip was surprisingly gentle. He examined my arm. "Bella and Lucius, leave us."

Once the doors shut and they were gone Voldemort looked up at me. "What happened?"

"I think that's a story for another time." I said.

He didn't say anything but he looked back down at my arm. He pulled his wand out from his robes. "I like you so I will make you one. However, I don't usually make people your age one."

"Thank you my lord."

He pressed the tip of his wand to my forearm. A burning pain shot up through my whole arm. I watched as the dark mark got more and more visible. Once he was done he took his wand off my arm and the pain subsided.

"There. Now you are one of us."

"Thank you. I will not let you down."

He placed his hands on my chin and tilted my head up towards him. "You better not." He let go and stepped back. "You are staying with Severus?"
