It's been a month since what happened with Mr. Anderson. I don't go to his class for tutoring anymore. And, he grades me normally now. He barely even looks at me.
Christmas is coming up in a few days. Emma is going home for Christmas so I will spend most of my time with Severus. I am really excited to spend it with him. I know he never really had a good Christmas before so this year I want to make it special.
I haven't heard from my parents since I last saw them. I am glad that I haven't but a small part of me wishes they cared.
"Are you excited for Christmas break?" I asked Emma from where I laid on my bed.
"Yeah. I am so excited to see my parents. And, Ava is also going back home so I will be able to see her."
"Awww that's so sweet!" I said.
Emma blushed. "I know. Are you going to be spending time with Severus?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
"That's good."
"Hey Emma?"
"Hm?"
"Do your parents know your gay?"
Emma looked up from her magazine and slowly closed it. "No."
"Are you going to tell them?"
She slowly sat up. "I don't know. My mom is ok with it I think. But, my dad..... I am not so sure."
"I am so sorry. That must feel terrible."
Emma shrugged. "It's fine."
We didn't talk for the rest of the night. Emma had a glazed over look the whole time. As if she was thinking a lot.
