Today is Friday and my last day of uni this week. After my classes, I will pack my stuff and head back home to Amy's, just as I promised her. The thought of meeting her again in a long time gave me motivation to get everything done before leaving.

My door suddenly knocks and I am driven out of my thoughts by the harsh sound of it. I get up from my bed and go open the door. After opening it, I am encountered with Jace' warm smile.

"Hey." he says and gives me a hug.

"Morning." I greet him back and hug him back, the smell of his cologne invading my nostrils.

"Let's go get coffee." he offers.

I look in the mirror and start quickly brushing my hair, making it look straight. "Yeah, just wait a second please." I ask for his patience.

"Sure thing." he says smiling and sits down on the chair, waiting for me.

I grab my bag with my notebook and my other belongings in it and turn to Jace, who stands up immediately after looking me in the face. I lock the door behind me and we exit the campus.

Once we step outside, the chilly morning breeze feels light on my skin and I breathe in the fresh air. Since it is winter, the morning sun doesn't seem to warm the weather in any way. Being glad I took my jacket with me, I put it on and we continue on walking to the coffee shop.

"I'm going to Amy's today for the weekend." I inform him, not being sure if I already told him this.

"Oh how fun." he says and looks at me. "I will miss you" he say in a playful tone.

To this I let out a laugh, knowing that it is a joke. "I will miss you even more, darling." I say this in a sarcastic way and put my left hand on my chest, adding drama to my performance.

He laughs out loud, letting his head fall back.

"You're gonna visit Mr. Anderson too?" he asks.

"I don't know. I'll decide later." I reply, taking a look at him.

"What will you guys do there?" he questions.

"Well, Amy said that she will introduce me to some of her new friends and we will go to a frat party." I inform him.

"Nice." he comments and soon enough we reach the coffee shop.

I order a latte macchiato and a chocolate chip biscuit. Jace buys a latte and we leave the shop after paying. We had back to the college and make our ways to our classes. Ty only has one class at noon today and so he slept in and Jace and I decided to meet up later.

I enter the room and spot Lana sitting near my seat, where she always sits. I go up the stairs and sit down beside her.

"Morning." I greet her.

She gives me a tired smile. "Hey you" she greets me back.

I notice that Lana was more than tired, it's like she was drowning in sad thoughts, not knowing how to get out of them.

"Everything alright?" I ask her, while unpacking my stuff, focusing on my bag.

"Yeah." She dryly answers.

I detect a lie in her reply. "You sure buddy?" I decide to ask again.

"My boyfriend is coming." She says and sighs.

Is that it? I think to myself.

"And is there a problem with that?" I ask for clarification.

To this, her eyes widen for a moment and she clears her throat. This makes me question her weird behaviour.
