I walk into the lecture room and observe it for a moment. It looks just like I imagined it to be. Too many rows of seats behind each other. From my angle, the room looks huge. I walk up to the stairs and take a seat in the fourth row. The professor is a man in his late fortys. He is wearing a dark brown suit and has a bag hanging off of his shoulder. A minute passes by as many other students walk into the room and take a seat. I take a look at my phone to check my notifications when suddenly, I am interrupted by a females voice.

"Is this seat taken?" she asks and looks at the seat next to mine. She has long brown hair and wears a blue blouse. The first response that crosses my mind is "obviously not" but that would be rude of me.

"No, it's not" I answer and smile to hide my tired face. She puts her bag down and takes a seat.

"I'm Lana by the way" she introduces herself.

"Bella Anderson. Nice to meet you" I say in response.

"You too" she grins.

"Good morning, students. My name is professor Miller. Welcome to our class of economy. I can promise you that we are going to be exploring interesting topics. The supplies you need for this class is paper, a pen and a folder. The organization and decoration of your stuff are completely your choice. Important is, that you always have your material with you" the professor explains.

"So, what made you choose economics?" Lana asks me. Seriously? The class hasn't even started properly but here she is, distracting me. I wont be able to focus on the class if she keeps talking all the way through in the future lessons.

"I have always found it interesting and it is the main requirement for my future career" I answer while keeping my eyes on the professor.

"Awesome" she remarks. I feel like she wants me to question her as well but I keep quiet.

"In this course we will examine issues central to the world we live in: namely how the economy and organisations function, and how resources are allocated and coordinated to achieve the organisations objectives" the professor tells. That sounds really interesting. I feel like I will enjoy every second of this class. The professor keeps on talking and I zone out for a quick moment. Time passes by and the professor ends the session. I put my belongings in my bag and stand up to walk away to the next assembly. Lana gathers her books together and puts them in her bag.

"When are you free?" Lana suddenly asks me.

"I have a seminar in ten minutes but after that, I am free for half an hour" I explain not knowing why she asks about my schedule.

"I think I am free as well. Do you want to get coffee afterward?" she questions. We don't even know each other yet but she already wants to make plans with me. On second thought, I guess that's how you make friends. I don't always want to hang out with Ty, Jace or Hayden.

"Sure, why not?" I answer questioning my choice.

"Meet me outside in front of the fountain after an hour and half" she suggests.

"Will do" I shortly respond.

"Bye" she says. She takes her bag, goes down the stairs and exits the room.

"See you later" I remark. I go out of the lecture room and take a look at my time table. The saloon in which my seminar will take place, is called K08. I quickly take a look at the picture of the map of the college to find the location. The map seems quite complicated but I spot the room on it right away. I walk down the hall as many people walk past me with a smile on their faces. Finally, I reach the room and look at the number on the door to make sure I am entering the right saloon. I look around the auditorium and take a seat in an empty row. There are only two other people sitting apart from each other. I take out my phone and check out the messages that I have received.

*How is your day going so far? * I read in dad's chat.

*Great* I decide to briefly respond. I tap on the group chat of me, Ty and Jace after seeing eleven messages.

Ty: *You guys I'm so bored"

Jace: *Same, bro*

Ty: *What are you doing?*

Jace: *Im supposed to listen to the class*

Ty: *Same, what are we doing today after classes?*

Jace: *I don't know. Maybe Bella has something planned*

Ty: *Bet*

Jace: *I'm hungry by the way*

Ty: *Me too*

Jace: *I am going to listen to the professor a little bit now*

Ty: *Ok* I read the last message.

*Don't you stop texting? * I send my sarcastic question without thinking that one of them would answer right away.

*Nah* Jace answers.

*Unlike you two, I will pay attention now, the professor just came in" I send my text. Before locking my screen, I take a look at my background picture. It is a photo of me and my mom. My mother is holding the third year old me in her arms.
