"Ty and I were very good friends and that was until you came here and took him away from me. He stopped hanging out with me, texting me, talking to me." she says.

"So you thought, "let's drug Ty, that'll make him be my friend again"?"

"My intention was not to drug him" she reveals.

"Well, whom then?" As I ask this, I realize that it was me who she wanted to drug. I gasp at my thought and look at her angrily.

"You." she whispers.

"Son of a bitch" I say. "What did you want to achieve with that?"

"I wanted to get you away from Ty." she says hesitantly.

"That was your plan? To kidnap me?" I look at her.

"No. There is more to that but I won't tell you."

"So how did your plan fucking fail?" I ask.

"I saw Ty's beer on the table but I didn't know that it was his. So I gave Dakota the powder and told her to put it in the beer and give it to you. By the time she did it, Ty came back and she panicked and left the beer on the table. It was too late to stop him from downing the whole bottle."

"Ty and I have been friends for 12 fucking years. He has known you only for a year. Of course he will choose me. What kind of a selfish prick are you? You are a psychopath, do you know that?" I say all with one breath and gasp for air.

"I will go now" she sighs and stands up. She leaves the room without giving me a chance to say something.

"Yeah, fucking leave why don't you" I say but she already closed the door.

"Bella, wake up." I hear a man's voice. I cannot open my eyes. That is until the person touches my arm softly. The touch makes my eyes instantly open wide. I see Ty's face and calm down.

"Good morning." he says smiling.

"What time is it?" I ask without wishing a good morning back.

"10 o'clock." he answers.

"How did you get in?" I question.

"Your door wasn't locked." he replies.

I cuss under my breath for not locking the door last night. I was too furious to think about anything else than the fact that I was Christina's about to be victim.

"How is your leg?" he asks. I realise that I am still laying in bed and try to stand up. Noticing this, Ty gives me a hand but I refuse to take it. As I move, I feel a sharp pain in my leg and hiss.

"Looks like it isn't good after all." he remarks.

"It will heal." I assure him.

"Let's go have breakfast together." he offers.

"Sure. Let me get myself ready." I tell him and stand up to make my way to the bathroom.

I wash my face and brush my teeth. I look in the mirror and notice the dark circles under my eyes. I quickly put my hair in messy bun and come out of there. Ty was sitting on a chair, looking at his phone.

"Let's go." I say and he stands up. We make our way to Ty's and Jace's room. The smell of scrambled eggs and bacon invade my nostrils the second I enter the room. Jace comes out of the kitchen and looks at us with a big smile on his face.

"Bella!" he says and rushes to me. He hugs me tightly and I hug him back.

"How are you?" he asks as we sit down.

"I'm fine. I'm also hungry." I answer and he chuckles. We enjoy our breakfast and I help Jace clean afterwards.

"What do you guys want to do today?" Ty asks us.

"I just want to rest honestly." I reply.

"What? Bella Anderson wants to stay in on a weekend?" Ty teases and I let out a laugh. There is a lot of truth behind his words because I am an extrovert and I always like to go out and spend time with my friends on weekends.

"I wonder why Ty" Jace sarcastically remarks.

"I feel tired, I really don't have the energy to do something big." I explain hoping he'd understand me.

"You know what guys, let's play board games at my place tonight and till then I am gonna study, I have tons of work to do."

"Yeah me too" Jace agrees with me.

I head back to my room and sit on my bed to rest my leg which was still a bit sore from the accident yesterday. I start studying and doing my homework that I had been procrastinating on. Uni work can be quite exhausting but as long as I have music by my side, I'll survive any essay or homework. By the time the sun sets, I get a text from Ty, telling me they will be on their way with the board games. I stand up and get the drinks and snacks ready.

Ty's POV

Just as I'm about to leave my room, my phone buzzes and I stop to look at my screen to see a text from Lana. Shit, I completely forgot about her.

"When are you coming over?" says the text.

Fuck. No. Shit. This can't be happening. Fuck's sake. Fucking hell. What have I done? I forgot that she had invited me to spend time with her. What do I do now? I have to go to Bella's.

"Are you coming or not?" Jace's question helps me snap back out of my thoughts.

"W-what?" I stutter.

"Are you deaf, fam?" he remarks.

"I just, there is a little problem." I struggle to speak proper sentences.

"What is it?" he asks annoyed, still stranding at the door and holding the handle.

"Lana just texted." I say.

"What is she saying?" he questions.

"When are you coming over?" I look at my phone screen and read out the message.

"What the actual fuck? You had plans with her?" Jace comes closer, his face expressing disbelief and confusion.

"Yes, Jace and I fucking forgot." I say annoyed.

"Well, what are going to do now?" he asks.

"I don't fucking know for fuck's sake that is why I'm confused." I answer.

"Well, you are going to Bella's, right?" he asks, being sure that I am going to say yes.

"I have to." I say and sigh. An idea suddenly comes to me and I decide to ask Jace about his opinion. "Or should I just invite her to Bella's, I'm sure she'd be happy to have her over." I say this, trying to believe my own words.

"Good luck man." Jace says this and taps on my shoulder twice before leaving the room.

I text Lana, inviting her to come to Bella's and exit my room, not knowing what the outcome of this is going to be.
