We sit down and I check my phone for notifications. I lift my head up and see Ty laying on his bed and Jace looking at his laptop. The air in the room gets warm and I stand up to open the window. I look outside for a couple of seconds and return to Jace.
"What are we going to do?" he asks nervously.
"We will wait until he is completely awake but that will last a couple of hours" I say and look at his shirt.
"Alright" he nods. "What were you doing outside?" he asks a quick moment later.
"I was talking to Henry" I explain.
"Cool" he says."What do you think of him?" he questions and I sense a weird feeling in his voice.
He seemed like a pretty nice guy I respond with a quiet voice.
Yeah, he is a good friend of ours he confirms. The room fills up with cool air and I stand up from the bed to close the window. I walk to Ty's bed and take a look at him. His eyes wont open and his body is numb. I listen to his breathing to make sure he is fine.
He is fine Jace smiles at me.
Yes, he is. I swear, if I find out that Christina did it, I will kill her I say aggressively and sit next to Jace.
Wow he says. Ty is really lucky to have a best friend like you he adds and looks at me. His smile makes me grin instantly. I laugh in response.
Hey, do you want to watch a movie to kill time? he asks me and grabs his laptop.
Sure. What movie? I question.
I dont know, pick one he requests.
Have you ever seen beautiful boy? I ask him as he looks on the laptop screen.
No he simply answers. We decide to watch the movie together. Nearly at the end, I notice how heavy my head feels and how exhausted I am. I almost fall asleep when I hear Tys voice. As he tries to get up, I stand up and go to him. Jace follows after me and we lift up his heavy body. Ty looks confused and pale.
How are you feeling? I ask him right away.
My body feels really heavy he explains while scratching his head. What happened? he asks.
You were drugged Jace tells him before I do.
It happened after I drank up my tequila he clarifies.
Well that explains it I say. Who was that girl you were talking to?
Dakota, why? he asks.
Because she could have been the one who drugged you I explain. He raises his eyebrow and looks very irritated.
You think? he asks to see if Im sure.
Of course I say. I bet it was Christina who told her to put something into your drink I add. How did she even manage to do that anyway? I continue.
I mean, I went to the bathroom one time, but only for two minutes he states.
As if time matters I roll my eyes and look at him.
"But why would she want to drug me? I've known her for a while
Do you want something right now? Jace asks Ty.
No, Im good he says. I just need to rest he continues while running his fingers through his hair. Wait, where were you guys the whole time? he looks confused again.
We brought you back here and then we waited till you woke up Jace clarifies to his friend. Ty smirks and looks at me but I ignore his stare.
Thanks guys he smiles bright.
No need we both say at the same time and then laugh right away.
I will go to my room now, I have to get ready for tomorrow I tell them.
Yeah sure Ty says. Taking a look at Jace's face, I see a smile. I take my phone and keys before saying goodbye and exiting the room. I walk into my room and lay down on my bed. The party definitely didn't go as I expected it to. I did have fun talking to Henry but I wish my best friend wouldn't have ended up in this situation. The more I think about it, the heavier my head feels. If I had seen this coming, I would have been with Ty all the time. Tomorrow is Monday, the day I really start at Oxford. I hope to see Christina somewhere in the college, because I will ask her about this. She certainly will not be happy with my response after admitting that it was her. Instead of thinking about tomorrow, I concentrate on different topics. I take a look at my phone and see a text message from Amy.
how is the party? I read. Despite the fact that I have nothing to do, I do not want to answer her right away. Laying down on my bed and staring at the ceiling is better than discussing this with her right now. After laying down for another 15 minutes, I finally encourage myself to get up and change my clothes. I walk into the bathroom and take a look at my reflection. It feels like today has been an exhausting day, even though it was alright, besides what happened to my best friend. I grab my tooth brush and brush my teeth while looking in the mirror. After noticing the makeup on my face, I quickly wash it off. As the minutes pass by, I get more tired. Without taking a look at the time, I activate my alarm and go to bed. Very unlike me, I fall asleep in what felt like seconds.
