A females voice makes me snap out of my thoughts. I focus on the professor and notice, that she is a short lady in high heels. She wears black suit and trousers which make her look more like a business woman than a professor. She wears bright red lipstick. I look at the white board in the middle of the room and see the headline "population growth" written with black marker.

"How do we stop it? Is there a way we can help? What are the consequences of this?" she bombards us with rhetorical questions. "We will try to try to figure it all out and find an answer to many more questions concerning our topic" she adds and smiles.

"So, let us talk about the consequences first. What are the downsides of population growth?" she asks the class. Without thinking properly, I raise my hand. The professor notices me right away.

"Mrs. Anderson?" she asks while looking at me.

"Population growth retards capital formation. As it increases, per capita available income declines. People are required to feed more children with the same income. It means more expenditure on consumption and a further fall in the already low savings and consequently in the level of investment" I answer as formally as possible to make a good impression.

'Impressive. That is a very wise answer, Mrs. Anderson" she says. I smile at her words and look down at my desk. After several questions, the professor ends the session with an essay as a homework. As I walk out of the auditorium, the she calls me. I walk back to her and look at the papers on her desk.

"You did an incredible job today and I would like you to keep it up" she says.

"Yes ma'am" I answer and smile.

"Alright, have a good day, Mrs. Anderson" she tells.

"Thank you very much, you too" I say and walk out of the room. While walking down the hall I suddenly remember that I have to meet Lana. I walk out of the facility and head to the little fountain in the yard. On first sight, Lana is nowhere to be seen. I take out my phone and read a book to kill time. All of the sudden, a message from Ty appears on the group chat.

Ty: "Bella, are you free now?"

"Yeah, I am. I'm outside waiting for this one girl that asked me to go get coffee with her this morning" I send my message.

Ty: "Really? What is she like?"

"I don't know. I guess I can say she is friendly" I answer.

Ty: "You go hang out with her then"

"You can come if you want" I offer somehow hoping he would say yes.

Ty: "No, you go have fun"

"I'll text you later" I send.

Ty: "Sure"

"Hi" I suddenly hear a high-pitched voice. I lift up my head and recognize Lana.

"Hey" I greet her.

"Sorry, I'm a little bit late. I got lost on the way here" she giggles.

"No worries" I say and smile. We start heading toward the coffee shop and reach it in five minutes. Both of us order a latte macchiato and sit down at a table close to the window.

"How do you like it here so far?" she asks.

"So far everything is going great for me. What about you?" I ask her.

"I also like it here but I haven't found any friends yet. You are the first person I talked to today." she says. I wonder why she thought I looked approachable. I was a little bit tired and was not up for any conversation.

"Really?" I ask and she nods in response.

"Do you have friends here?" she questions.

"I have two. My best friend and his roommate" I explain.

"Lucky you" she says and grins.

"I can introduce you to them if you like" I offer and take a sip out of my drink.

"I would love to" shine appears in her eyes as she says that.

"We should hang out more often" I state.

"That would be awesome" she answers with excitement in her voice.

"They are cool guys, you will enjoy their company" I assure her.

"I bet" she laughs. We finish our drinks and exit the shop. We walk back to our college and exchange our numbers before walking in.

"I will text you and we can decide when to meet up with those jerks" I sarcastically say and Lana laughs.

"Will do" she agrees and walks away. My next assembly goes by very fast mostly because I was drawing. At the end of the session, my is head pounding.
