CHAPTER 5

"Saan ka niyan, bro?". My brother Hiro asks me, there's no school for us. Gotta enjoy life to the fullest!

I shrugged my shoulders and sip on my coffee, "You know my itinerary every rest day, bro". He lets out a chuckle and shook his head in disbelief.

"Back to womanizing? That's bad, bro". Natatawang usal nito habang naiiling, I furrowed my eyebrows at him. As if he's not like me, he's worst.

"Ohh kuya, 'wag kang magsalita na parang hindi mo gawain iyon". Natatawa kong usal sa kaniya, nakita kong umangat ang gilid ng labi niya na parang nagmamalaki. 

"Well, what's the point of committing by the way?".

I shook my head, "How would I know? I was born like this, to play and to be an ace on the game".

My brother lets out a laugh maybe he realizes how messed up we are, players, no direction in life. That's how they see us, that's how they always see us.

"Ibahin mo ang itinerary mo ngayong araw, stop playing maybe just for today". Dinig kong wika nito, it's not bad to stop at least one day. I nodded in approval, "I can consider it".

His expression suddenly became confused, his eyebrows furrowed and his lips puckered like he is thinking or may be wondering about somethings.

"What happened to your face, you look so weird". Natatawa kong pagpuna dito. 

He threw his gaze in my direction and suddenly blurted out something, "Who's that person you were talking to? Yung sa post ni Cole".

I remember it, Cole took a stolen picture of me while I am admiring Jai's photos. Okay, chill. I was just looking; I am not planning anything.

"Admiring beautiful sceneries, bro". I said and unconsciously, a smile made its way to my lips. I never smile whenever I am thinking about a girl or a woman, whatever. Shoot! This is bad.

My brother looks so confused but he just buys what I just said, thank God.

I reach out for my phone and I did not notice, I was opening a chat conversation. Me and Jai's chat conversation, another smile made its way to my lips. Why can't I stop smiling? Goodness.

She left a message and I immediately read it.

@Jaiiii: Hey, nasabi ko na sa mga kaibigan ko and is it okay if we meet up? To discuss it to them clearly, kung free ka lang naman.

Her message was simple but it makes me feel something, she's adorable just like her typing. What's wrong with me today? I even adore the typing? Wow.

@Hernandez_Grey: Hey, Jai! My schedule is free, we can meet.

@Jaiiii: Wahh! Thank youu!

Slowly, my smile entered and invaded my whole system. She's so cute to be true, is it normal seeing someone cute just because of their typing? Okay I'll stop.

@Hernandez_Grey: You're always welcome

Binitawan ko ang cellphone ko at uminom ng kape, I saw my brother looking at me like I escape a mental institution in my peripheral vision.

"Stop looking at me like that, bro". I uttered while slightly laughing, he shook his head in disbelief. "I never seen you smile like that, you lovesick fool".
