Years ago, if asked what his dream wedding would be like, he would have shrugged and replied with "I'll leave it to my bride"
Now if asked, he'll simply say one thing.
Fairy tale
He never saw this day coming. Well technically he knew he would marry eventually but he thought it would be with a nice and quiet girl. A girl who was polite and sweet, with gentle hands and a calming voice. That was his dream girl.
But the man he was marrying was loud, sadistic, childish, possessive, and messy. His hands were rough and calloused, while his voice was cool and condescending. The exact opposite of what Gakushū thought he would end up marrying.
But he wouldn't change anything. Because Karma is the love of his life, everything he does is perfect in Gakushū's eyes.
"Here comes the groom!" Came the sing sing voice of his best friend Ren, who was also his best man for the wedding. "Shitting his pants" Ren finished singing and pulled his friend to an arm lock, messing up Gakushū's hair.
"Fuck! Ren my hair is ruined!" Gakushū pried Ren's arm off him and pushed the brown haired man away.
"Karma probably wouldn't care if your hair is messed up man" Ren pointed. " I mean it'll end up messed up in the end when the two of you start shaking your bed--or table?-- on your honeymoon"
"Fuck off Ren" Gakushū sighed, blushing a little bit.
Ren sat on the couch and smiled at his friend. "Are you nervous?" he suddenly asked.
"No" Was Gakushū's reply. "If anything, I'm anxious. I've never felt this sort of excitement before, my heart's beating so fast" he gave a short laugh. "How is Karma?"
When Ren didn't answer, Gakushū looked at his best friend, who looked solemn. "Oi, what's with you?" He playfully punched the other man's shoulder.
"Shaking" Ren said. "What?" Gakushū didn't understand him. Ren shrugged and gave his friend a tight smile. "Your future husband is shaking, Rio's been coming in going in his room and she looks" Ren tried to find the right words.
"She looks what?" Gakushū pressed.
"Out of it? Pretty sure I heard glass break in there" Ren stood up and adjusted Gakushū's bowtie. "Your red head's got a bad case of wedding jitters maybe" he chuckled.
Gakushū simply nodded.
An hour later, the ceremony begins. Gakushū bit the inside of his cheek and forced himself to stop tapping his foot in anxiety as he waited for the man he will marry to walk down the aisle in his white tux with his mother Natsuki.
He couldn't contain the smile from creeping on his face as he waited for his future husband to walk towards him.
"Stop bouncing you idiot!" He heard Itona snap at him. "Leave him alone, he's excited to marry Karma, it's really adorable" Kayano giggled beside the white haired man.
Gakushū glared at Itona. "I'm not bouncing"
"Here he comes!" Came the excited voice of Nagisa as the doors open.
Everyone turned to the door to look at the other groom, Karma, who would be standing behind the door wearing a white tux and a long veil covering his face, with Natsuki holding his arm.
But instead there was no one.
The guests started whispering anxiously when seconds passed, and then later on minutes.
Then Natsuki, who look pale and disheveled walked up to him. The woman wiped something from her eyes and, with trembling hands handed him a small note.
What was written on the note was short and, but it was enough for Gakushū's entire world to come crashing down
I'm sorry, Shū
